@ChristalM @Mochapj Keeping my fingers crossed for you! I'm not sure which warehouse my order is coming from, so hopefully that won't make the difference between a shipped order and a cancelled order! For reference, I placed my order this morning (right after midnight). 

I noticed it had gone back to 'Coming Soon'/OOS yesterday as well, so I immediately placed an order when I received the 'Back in Stock' email.

Hi everyone, I have a question for anyone that owns (and has used) one or both of these palettes:

PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership II Eyeshadow Palette – Sublime

PAT MCGRATH LABS - Mothership III Eyeshadow Palette - Subversive

I nearly bought them during the sale but then I watched the brand-provided video on Sephora and they looked SO glittery. I started doubting I’d be able to use them on a daily basis for the office. 

Originally, I thought that most of the colours were shimmer shadows, with a couple glittery ones. However, after watching the video, it seemed that the opposite was true. 

I know these are well-liked, high-quality shadows — no concerns there. But I'd appreciate hearing feedback about how glittery they are and whether or not they’re suitable for a business casual office.

@PinkEvergreen I have both.

theyre not quite glittery in the sense of having speckles of glitter but both palettes have a few shades that are more like pressed metallic pigments than a powdery shadow and those shades are quite reflective/metallic. You can tell which ones they are in the pan because they’re more domed and baked looking vs the plain eyeshadows are flat pans.

id say the one you didn’t link (subliminal) is probably the most office appropriate cuz it’s got a lot of neutral grey and taupe. sublime is my fave of the 3 and could probably be office appropriate if you don’t use the green prominently. Subversive IMO is the boldest palette and is probably not easy to use for office unless you wear a lot of smoky eyes.

@Mochapj Thanks for your feedback! Based on your comments, I think I made the right choice to give these a pass, for now. I’m really more fond of palettes that can multitask easily. 

That being said, I’m absolutely loving the new PAT McGRATH LABS Mothership V Eyeshadow Palette - Bronze Seduction. It’s going to be hard to resist that one!! 😅
