Since the brand is coming to Sephora. I thought I'd start a thread just for the brand for news and info.

Mothership VI Eyeshadow Palette - Midnight Sun
Beautiful but not sure why it doesn’t speak to me. I will skip this. Are you picking it up @Mochapj
@blackkitty2014 I’m undecided, it doesn’t wow me.
i will see once it comes to Sephora but at the moment, probably not.
Mothership X: Moonlit Seduction promotional ad on IG
Always wanted to try their products, is it worth the price?
Yes! Pmg is one of the best of the best of the best. After a while you don’t need to buy everytnung because she offers you some repetitive shades.
like ones she knows she uses a lot and most pros use (not me) but I don’t buy everytnung. If you’re doing a lot of work on others or yourself it’s worth it. Plus the sales she has. Like you can get mothership X 20% off during the routine sale (unless they don’t allow it which isn’t an issue I’ve run into with PMG products on Sephora unless they’re not released yet on Sephora like after launch on PMG site ). SO you can get it for 20% off and other new items vs 10% when you buy it from pmg launch day. And PMG also has sales on other mothership palettes! There is so many now 10! I definitely reccomend divine rose 2 over 1 if you are to pick a rose palette! Hehe get it, pick a rose!
lol
ok and now finally~PMG has their smaller palettes like the new midnight purple one yes expensive and tiny but you can try her formulas without spending a ton of $
and people adore her lip products. And face, I suppose her face setting powder hasn’t been a huge hit for many people but the under eye powder is (I have it I just keep losing it). Also it’s fun to join the live sessions/giveaways whenever mother is releasing a NEW item on her INSTAGRAM!

skin fetish under-eye powder
skin fetish loose powder
(searching bar to rag products isn’t loading right so not all names are accurate. You will be able to find them though).
I think in terms of quality, yes it is worth the price! If you've found your holy grail items then I would skip picking those up from PML. The number one item I recommend from the brand is the Mothership palettes. I would also recommend the holiday Celestial mega palette too if you can find them, though you don't get the Blitz Astral formula which the brand is known for. Go with the color story that you like the most and that you know you will get the most wear from. The next items I would recommend is the concealer, blush, and lipsticks.
@spirled Definitely visit Pat's site and sign up for her mailing list. Then you'll get heads-up email about upcoming sales and product launches, plus discount codes. PMG discount codes for new product launches are usually just 10% off, but hey, it's something! And PMG does have some good sales throughout the year; they just ended a 25-40% off summer sale, for instance.
If you don't like super sparkly eyeshadows and/or hate any fallout during application, then Pat's palettes will hurt your feelings—particularly the Motherships containing astral and blitz formula shadows. Eh, there are ways to work with astrals to reduce fallout. I love Pat's duo/multichrome shadows and her metallic shadow formula, and I'm a big blitz formula fan. I usually don't have trouble with her mattes, but some folks do.
Pat's MatteTrance lipsticks are fantastic, and I like her new SatinAllure lipsticks (though I loved her discontinued LuxeTrance lipsticks more). The Lip Fetish non-astral balms are also great. Her gel lip liners are my favorites by any brand because they don't budge. Her blushes—well, the first round of single blushes (I don't have any of her newer duos)—are very good, though NARS still makes my favorite powder blushes. I love Pat's Lunar Nude highlighter; I have 3 different formulas of her highlighters, including 2 shades of her gel powder formula, and Lunar Nude (a gel powder) is by far my favorite for the way it melts into my skin. When it comes to all here highlighters, I recommend swatching them in-store (if you have a local PMG-stocked Sephora) so you can decide which formula(s) and finish you prefer.
I've never used Pat's foundation (I don't do liquid/cream foundation) but I have a few shades of her concealer. It's good for folks who like a more liquid textured concealer; it's not super runny, but it's also not what I'd call a cream-liquid concealer formula. All concealers crease (no matter what any brand claims) and this one's no exception. But it does offer good coverage. I usually use it very strategically atop a deeper shade of a different brand's concealer when I want a bit more light in my hollow tear troughs. Oh, and I also like her pressed setting powder, though it's no match for my favorite By Terry powder. It's fine.
I like Pat's Dark Star mascara much better than her FetishEyes mascara. The latter is buildable and, for me, requires several coats, while the former's more of a one (or two) and done. Dark Star's a goodie.
@WinglessOne Love your detailed explaination to her.
Aw, thanks @SportyGirly125 !
@spirled A tip I forgot to mention: don’t fully trust the swatches at PMG’s site. Between the lighting they use for their palette promo photos and the gold sequins in the background, the swatched shades are often skewed too warm toned. Look for other people’s swatches and/or try to see the palette in person. Pat sometimes posts videos at her Instagram of MUAs applying her products to models; those are another good shade reference.
Same goes for MatteTrance lip swatches at Pat’s site. Many of those promo photos are inaccurate. For those, Temptallia has more accurate swatches.
@spirled It is worth it but she has sales on her website. If you wanted to try her products go on her website so you don't have to pay full price.
Those swatches are gorgeous!
@Mochapj It's pretty, from what I can tell via photos so far. But I need to see it in person, or see some more believable swatches online. I'm trying not to be all "oh look, yet another pink palette" about this one, but... I dunno, maybe it's more coral and berry in person. Whole lotta gold goin' on in there, but of course the duochrome intrigues me.
Though I like the idea of having a PMG-style neutral palette (though I'd argue this isn't Pat's first neutral Mothership, and X looks less neutral overall than the ones I'm thinking of—which isn't a bad thing), this might be a Mothership I'll skip.
Now to resist the urge to buy it on launch day. I know I am definitely picking it up though,
@hersheykisseslv Agreed! I know it’s going to be 30% off in November, I just have to hold off til then. It looks stunning, I don’t even care that she added more pinks and golds lol
@hersheykisseslv Same! Must wait to get it at Sephora for me because I refuse to deal with her direct shipping.
I never had a bad shipping experience from Pat Mcgrath's website. I hope that continues since I plan to follow @makeitup305 and pick it up during her Black Friday sale.
Mothership X: Moonlit Seduction
Oh wait, don’t look liked this one has those special shades @hersheykisseslv @Mochapj @ChristalM
@blackkitty2014 they definitely look like they aren’t but her descriptions mention VR, Astral and Blitz shades. Hopefully those are still in the baked pigment formula
