I thought a lot of those colors looked familir. The Star Wars palettes were the special edition Decadence palette and the 6-pan Galactic Gold and Dark Galaxy palettes. This leads me to believe that the 12 repromotes are all of the eyeshadows from the two 6-pan palettes because Decadence is pretty much readily available now so there is no need to repromote those shadows. Sucks because I have the two 6-pan Star Wars palettes so this new palette most likely has only 6 new eyeshadow colors for me. This may not be a good buy for those of us who have those 2 palettes because it will probably be over $200 and that’s too much if we already have most of the colors.

Personally I think that PMG should re-release the two Star Wars 6-pan palettes in new packaging and then made the 18-pan Celestial Divinity palette all or mostly new shades. It’s just bad business to release an 18-pan limited edition palette that is 2/3 older shadows.

@teufel  Yeah, the 12 repeats are from the Star Wars MTHRSHPs, not Decadence. Also, 4 shadows in those mini Star Wars palettes were repeats from previous MTHRSHPs; those mini palettes weren't all new shades. That's partly why I skipped those 2 mini palettes in the first place. 

I assume Pat can't re-release the Star Wars 6-pans in their original packaging due to licensing issues. Folks who missed those 2 palettes should be happy about this new big one, especially since it contains 6 new shades. 🙂 I do hope it doesn't cost as much as a Mothership. The pan sizes are smaller than Pat's 6-pan and 12-pan palettes and the casing is cardboard, so that might help with pricing. Some folks are already complaining about the cardboard... eh, I wouldn't mind if the Motherships also came in cardboard instead of the bulky plastic casing + box. At least they'd be more readily recyclable that way (and maybe also a bit less expensive).

That's me, @WinglessOne, I didn't get to grab the star wars limited edition 6 pan ones, so I'm delighted there's a chance to grab these all together personally. Fingers crossed price is in-between the 6 and 10 pans.

@teufel, I think there's quite a few of us in the boat where we didn't get to grab the LE 6 pans, so are jazzed about this, but could see how it would be annoying if you already owned most of the shades.

Thanks @KNC24 ! Knew about the Star Wars repeat shadows, but now we have quad names! And 2 new MatteTrance shades, plus the highlighter name. 

Hmm, about those quad names: 

• RISQUE ROSE: Darker pink/rose —seems like a Mothership 8 extension to me. 
• FLEUR FANTASIA: Peach & pink —maybe this is a MTHRSHP Mega extension? 
• INTERSTELLAR ICONS: Blue & bronze —I wish this meant there's another Mothership coming, and that it's blue and bronze themed. WHERE IS MY BLUE MOTHERSHIP, PAT. (Yes yes, "but Mothership 1 Subliminal!" I love that palette. It's the only blue 10-pan. We've had 2 pink 10-pans in a row, and now this 18-pan mostly-pink palette. C'mon man.) 

Will be very interested in swatches of the 2 new lipstick shades.

@WinglessOne In the pink and purple quads, those mattes look really similar to one's in the Rose Decadence mthshp and DR II, IMO.

I personally want a green mothership.

@haleyvvvv  A green Mothership would be fantastic! Especially with a duochrome or 2. Mothership 2 doesn’t really qualify as a green color story; it’s more of a warm toned story that just happens to include a green shade. So yeah, we’re overdue for some green! 

I’ve whines about blue PMG stuff all year because, well, I love blue makeup 💙 —but also because of Pantone’s 2020 color choice. I was hoping we’d get more blues from Pat this year as a nod to that, but nope.

Yesss, maybe we can get two next year. Like an updated II nice warm one with some greens and some golds, but also a purple/green duo. And then like a gorgeous space one with greens and blues and silvers. @WinglessOne

I'm dying to see swatches of everything! I didn't pick up the Star Wars palettes so depending on the price tag, that 18-pan might be coming home with me, along with at least 2 quads. I think the quads have a matte this time around, which I feel a little meh about.

@makeitup305, I definitely want swatches, but honestly that 18 pan is just calling to me, I don't really need em. Especially if the shades are from the Star Wars ones.

@haleyvvvv  I was hoping the PMG email would contain a link that sent us behind the "coming soon" page, so we could see more details ahead of time. I'm too impatient for this. 😂 

Naturally my eyes went straight to the quad with the blue shadow. I wonder if the quad shadows are all (or mostly) repeats? The 2 pink quads' shadows look VERY familiar, and so do some of the blue quad's shadows. Hmm. Wish I could make out all the print on the quad boxes to read their names, so I could at least figure out if any of these are meant to be extensions/partners of larger palettes (like the original 3 quads seem to be).

Haha, no such luck, unfortunately, @WinglessOne!! But the mattes in the quads all look fairly familiar to other shades, but I am not a connoisseur.

@SportyGirly125 When I saw the posts, I told my partner that the palette was my holiday wish item, so I'm definitely eying that. The quads, especially the blue and purple ones also have my eye.
