@blackkitty2014 they're pretty amazing.

I grabbed a few early due to a Sephora online stocking error and I while I hate traditional gloss I love these. There's zero stickiness and they don't really feel like anything at all but have super vinyl shine.

@itscarin I bought the Decadence palette and definitely agree that fingers or a synthetic work the best for product on the lid. I don't like the colors in the palette for my crease at all, I feel like they end up looking completely different than I expect but since they're all sparkly then it's not really an issue. The mattes in the 6-pan blended fine on my lid wit a brush though. As much as I love the colors, I doubt I’ll buy another tbh.

I just bought all 3 mothership palletes and I'm not feeling them. I want to believe!!! what do you like about them? do you have any tips,tricks, tutorial recommendations? I saw tati said to use them as toppers over black and that helps with the duochrome colors. I've tried using them with fix plus and the results were varied. The colos that looked good with out fix plus still look good with it, but the bad ones are still bad

I don't think I ever use a brush to apply anything Pat,maybe the mattes? I always use my fingers. (I have all 4 motherships & the 3 babies) I did find I need glitter glue to hold the glitter in place but I have oily semi hooded lids. I love them though better than ND

@itscarin I ordered one of the smaller palettes but haven't received it yet. I'm so sorry to hear this. At TJMAXX online they had the Kevyn Aucoin flat pigment brush for $14.99. I've been using it with pigmented eyeshadows and its working out great instead of using my finger. Here's a picture of it.

Cool, that reminds me of the stila magnificent metals brush.  Maybe I'll try that brush and the stila liquid adhesive for the magnificent metals and see if that helps.

@itscarin I’ve actually found the best tutorials for these palettes to be from Pat herself (on her IG)

i mentioned this previously in relation to the Decadence palette, but it applies to the other 3 as well.

one thing that seems consistent in her tutorials is that she uses a brush to apply the ‘frame’ of eyeshadow to the crease and outer edges but for whatever ‘pop’ shade (the metallics or duochromes) she is using on the main lid, she always swipes it on with her finger, not a brush. 

Personally I hate applying makeup with my fingers but I can’t deny that pigmentation is richer when I use a fingertip than when i use a brush (much like with swatching)

@Mochapj Thanks, I'll take a look at her IG.  I swatched them in stores and they looked pigmented but when I use them with a brush they're underwhelming.  The finger thing makes sense since Pat is kind of famous for using fingers to apply makeup.

@itscarin Sadly I had the same experience. I just found them muddy on my eyes. They did swatch beautifully though which was disappointing. I returned mine. I did find the 6 pan ones slightly better for some reason...

How is the shipping of Pat McGrath's direct website? Do they ship the orders immediately? I placed my very first order yesterday and it just said that it can take up to 7 business days for my order to arrive. Is that for real?

they ship out of new Jersey and take a few days to ship. I think I ordered on Wednesday and the items shipped on Monday. I live in DC and received it on Tuesday. i hope that helps @gorgeouscheeks

Unfulfilled means it hasn't been processed and shipped. Once it has, it'll say fulfilled.
