For anyone debating what to buy: I highly recommend the mini 5-pan Eye Ecstasy Subversive palette, if you like jewel toned metallics. It’s kinda like having a mini Decadence in your makeup bag. Great for travel! I got one as a holiday/birthday gift last year, and I’m seriously considering buying a backup at the USD $17 sale price. 

I’m trying not to buy anymore lipsticks... the last thing I need is more lipstick by any brand, but especially not more PMGs. 😄

I picked up Guinevere and the Iconic Illumination lip duo this morning.I skipped on the palettes. I wonder why Sephora doesn't jump on this and discount the items they have. I have seen them match other brands when it wasn't a competitor retailer.

Anyone order direct lately? Wondering on shipping times these days...

I live in NYC and I placed an order during the sale on a Saturday and received it on a Wednesday. I was expecting a later shipment, after hearing everyone else's experience with their shipping. Everything was intact, they accidentally gave me an additional eyeliner in a different shade. I ordered the Naomi Kit which came with Xtreme Black and received BlK Coffee as well.

I placed a small order during the Spring sale @ChristalM. It took about a week to arrive. I live about 90 minutes from the fulfillment center. You can’t beat their packaging of their products. There will probably be a discount code given for 10% off. My orders ship via UPS which has always been reliable.

@ChristalM  I haven't ordered since the pandemic lockdown started, but the last time I ordered direct earlier this year, it took nearly 2 weeks for my purchase to arrive. I can only imagine it would still be comparable (or longer) to ship to Canada right now.

@Mochapj Yeah that has been my experience as well. Super slow shipping. and I can only imagine with the extra precautions in place right now. If I decide to order it, I guess sephora it will be!

I am DYING to get one of her larger palettes! I have one of the smaller palettes and am in love with the quality. They are a huge investment though, which 1 should I get????

If you're still debating on which Mothership palette to get I would check out this post  "Which Pat McGrath Mothership Palette should I get?" from Christine on Temptalia.com. She breaks down each palette to performance, color story, and gives her overall opinion on the palette.

@lucygoosie1492  It definitely depends on your color story preference. 

If you want a very cohesive color story that can do both neutral and bolder looks: for warm tones, go with Mothership V Bronze Seduction; for cool tones, choose Mothership I Subliminal. Or you can try to get Mothership VII Divine Rose, which is largely a curation of pinks from various existing palettes. 

For a warm-toned palette with a bit more variety to play, look at Mothership II Sublime.

For even more variety in a palette, try Mothership VI Midnight Sun. I especially love this palette paired with the Nocturnal Nirvana Blitz Astral Quad, because then you get a rainbow:

Midnight Sun and Nocturnal Nirvana sure seem like they belong together after all.

If you love jewel tone metallics, you want Mothership IV Decadence. There are no mattes in that palette. 

Love purples? Mothership III Subversive is your palette.

What type of makeup do you wear? Do you like cool tones or warm tones? The most popular Mothership is V: Bronze Seduction. Some other popular Motherships are VI: Midnight Sun, VI: Divine Rose, II: Sublime. If you haven't already, I recommend looking up hashtags for the palettes i.e "mothershipv" or "bronzeseduction" to see some looks for each one.

Does anyone know why the black packaging version is showing up as "limited edition" on Sephora? On the PMG site, the black one is permanent and the pink one is limited edition.
