So...... Pretty annoyed right now that this MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT was NOT the release but rather just a giveaway and meet and greet for people in NYC. Happy for people who can go, but very sad that this was just a major hype- a -thon.......

@mermadelove Can you share the details of the NYC meet and greet and palette launch?  I'm like too pregnant to actually go myself but I am curious.  If it's at Bergdorf's I highly recommend to anyone who can go.  Last time I went they were passing out 'champagne' (I'm sure it was some other kind of sparkling wine but you know, it was white, carbonated, and alcoholic).  Totally worth it for the free drinks alone.

@itscarin Once I get the email I'll happily share the details! However, I can't drink alcohol due to chronic medical conditions and that wouldn't be enough to get me to brave the wilds of the Big City without a chauffeur!!! I cannot deal with driving/traffic in the city, especially if it ends up being on Black Friday which is bound to be an absolute zoo!!!!!! But I'll post what I know for the brave souls who will!

But until then I ordered the Ritualistic Rose from her site, got the liquilust freebie and 10% off, free shipping , no tax. I am momentarily consoled. And at that savings with a freebie, it was a steal. Right, @itscarin ???  LOLOLOLOL 🙂

🥀 I hope so. She did offer 10% off if you were a subscriber & on the list for the midnight sun. Maybe she'll do that or a freebie. I would be happy just to get my hands on it. Does anyone know if the sales on the PML site come with any exclusions? I’ve been reading about possibly 20-25% off🙏🏻 🙏🏻🙏🏻 for an upcoming sale but was curious if it excluded anything. I was hopping to score the I, II and III bundle but wasn’t sure if big ticket items like this would be excluded?

@stacy2455 I don't know what will be excluded if anything, but I can tell you from my past experience she had a bundle of the first 3 mothership palettes for sale, and the 20% discount was applicable to that bundle.  I remember this distinctly because after the mothership bundle discount and then 20% off discount, it ended up being like buy 2 palettes get 1 free.  At least, that's what I told myself to feel better about spending that much on palettes.  😄

@itscarin  I call that makeup maven math! And that’s how I started my PMG collection, too! LOL I bought the bundle and Mothership VI all at once during the 20% off sale. Saved so much compared to buying them all at once even with a 20% off VIB Rouge discount as Mother usually has no shipping charges and doesn’t charge tax to my state. Even with her 10% off launch discounts it comes out to less than getting it during the sale at Sephora for me due to taxes.  Of course you lose the points benefits but since I haven’t been able to snag any of the rewards I want lately I;m beginning to wonder if the points are even worth it!

Points are definitely not worth much and I'm not seeing the benefit of spending $1000+ / year with Sephora.  I'm definitely not going to make the $1000 spend this year (fingers crossed this is accurate).  I'm finding there are better incentives for shopping elsewhere so that's what I'm doing.
