@gonerogue  Thank you! I swear they weren’t on the New page when I checked earlier today—but it doesn’t matter because they’re real!  

I’m still confused by the shade Noir’s “opaque ebony” description compared to the product swatch photos. Noir looks even more sheer than most other sheer black balms I’ve seen/worn. I’d hoped for a more pigmented black balm. Astral Blue Star’s description seems accurate, though. Based on the product page, Astral Blue Star is the one I’ll buy.

@WinglessOne  Noir is definitely very sheer but very wearable as a simple balm topped with gloss. I think I will have to cave and get it as well. The other shade looks too glittery for my liking to use as a balm so I know I will have to skip on that 🤷🏼‍♀️

@gonerogue  I just wonder why the product description doesn’t match the product. If not for the product photos, the description would be very misleading. Kinda unusual for PMG. I always notice this kind of thing on product pages and ads, thanks to years of preventing it from happening on my former employer’s site. I can’t not notice it anywhere now.  

Anyway, I’m sure Noir will work great for you! I hope someone who buys it will show it swatched over a couple of lipstick shades, to see if it can “enhance” other shades like most other sheer black balms are designed to do. I own several Lip Fetish Balms and I don’t normally use them as balms under any other lip product, because they’re all quite pigmented on me. I have tried using one to alter a topping lipstick’s color. It’ll be interesting to see Noir used that way. 

The blue sparkly balm is something I don’t think I have in my collection yet—closest I probably have a very glittery blue violet Givenchy topper, or maybe Bite’s Peacock Pearl gloss—and since I love to wear “unconventional” lipstick shades, that’s definitely the one I’m drawn to.

Yeah those black cases are sooooo freaking pretty!!! Yeah I think it's one of those black sheer balms... The blue looks nice too but afraid it might be a glitter bomb. @WinglessOne

@veronika23  Normally I’d be more attracted to a blue lip shade than black. But the swatch photos & caption in that IG post confuse me, so I need to see both balms on a PMG product page myself. Every Lip Fetish shade I own is quite pigmented on my lips; I hope these 2 will follow suit. Though I wonder if the black one is meant to behave like GIVENCHY - Rouge Interdit Vinyl Color Enhancing Lipstick - 16 Noir Revelateur. Guess I’ll find out in a couple days!

I’m trying to convince myself I don’t need a $40 lip balm (ignoring all the Lip Fetish shades I already own 😄) and I already have too many black lipsticks, and I even have something that’ll give me a sheer black finish... but Pat will probably win this debate. 😂 Hopefully these balms will still be around during her fall sale!

@WinglessOne  I don’t own any of her lippies currently ( ignoring the duo that’s winging its way to me right now courtesy of Sephora Friends and Family sale 😅) and it is a very posh lip balm in an extremely sophisticated case......... but who needs a posh lip balm........? ( sheepishly raises hand). But ONLY ON SALE!!!!! Because then it’s sooooo much cheaper right???? ( still crazy. Admit you’re a crazy collector 🧜🏽‍♀️💖. ) At least I’m in great company with all you BIC beauties! 😂🥰😂😘

I have it!! Got this on the weekend, even though it was the last one but didnt look used: Pat Mcgrath Blitz Astral Quad Eyeshadow Palette in Nocturnal Nirvana.

The colors are  like Neon sparkly but not chunky, if that makes sense. I had a hell of a time getting the right angle to capture the magnificent purple color on my lids. OMG!!!! FYI, I kept swishing my brush to get more color but there is NO Fallout on the pallet or on my eyes!

@Buootiful and @WinglessOne, just received my Pat McGrath order in. Nothing crushed or broken (I love getting in other company's shipments compared to Sephora) Haven't had time to swatch. Maybe tomorrow.

@Buootiful and @WinglessOne, here are the swatches. Top to bottom, bronze, copper, gold, silver. The cream eyeshadow is swatched on the right. The creme eyeshadow is not as sparkly, but won't need to use glitter glue, but will definitely have to use it on the pigment colors.

@Luvstravel  I hope you enjoy everything! I already have the Gold 005 kit and almost recently bought the bronze or copper kit, but couldn’t decide between them. I’m curious to see how similar (or not) those 2 really are. 

About the creams: those are quite versatile, or at least the gold one is. I can use it as a highlighter or lip topper, whether I use it alone or mix it with a bit of facial oil or clear balm. It’s also a nice base for the super sparkly gold pigment.
