I’m starting to really dig PMG products. Almost everything I’ve tried by PMG have been of high quality, blend like a dream and super pigmented like no other. So glad Sephora carries this brand or I would have never know about it. Best part is all the mini sizes available, so I don’t have to break the bank trying them all. 👍

Just read a good review of the new eyeshadow singles.  This is by Sabrina of The Beauty Look Book.  It has a lot of swatches and gives you a close up look at the colors.  Some of these are really gorgeous.

I hate to ask this, but is the mascara performing worse for anyone over time? I bought it the day it came out and immediately fell in love; however, I now can’t wear it without having raccoon eyes by the end of the work day. Nothing else in my routine has changed, so I’m not sure where the problem lies 😕

Have any of you ladies tried lash primer? I always use it and I've been wearing the PM mascara almost daily since it launched and I've had zero issues. I also use a ton of UD all nighter, in case you aren't setting everything

It was great when I first got it but after a few weeks, I started flaking and smearing under my eyes too. Interestingly this was the same thing that another much less expensive mascara that happens to have the same look, application, and smell did also. That mascara was L’Oreal Voluminous Butterfly Mascara which I swear must be made by same manufacturer as the PM one. If the two mascaras aren’t twins, they’re at least siblings that could be mistaken for each other. Sucks because I initially really liked the look of both mascaras. The smell, not so much, but both looked beautiful until they started flaking and smearing like crazy. Luckily I got the PM one as a sample from Allure, otherwise I would be really irritated.

@tastelikewater @TraceyEB Unfortunately I agree as mine has gotten much clumpier over time as well. Odd , it’s usually the opposite for me as I like my new ones to dry out a bit once opened. Like Tracey I only use it as last coat over my regular but it still has gotten worse and also no way can I use it on bottom lashes. A mess. And i dislike smell also 😕

Hi @tastelikewater, there have been fairly consistent reports of smudging since the launch that suggest most would not purchase or repurchase. I'm using my sample on top of other mascaras as that reduces the smudging for me, but won't be buying the regular size. I also experienced flaking when used on its own.

I'm the opposite, but I dont wear a full face aka nothing under my eyes except moisturizer. I also have oily lids. it's still my most reached for mascara. @tastelikewater have you tried using a setting spray?

@tastelikewater, I love the jet black color, but I also had smudges under my eyes. I guess now I will just use it on top lashes 🙂

@Luvstravel I only wear it on my top lashes, and it still manages to smudge under my eyes. It’s bizarre!

Oh no @tastelikewater! I've been enjoying the They're Real! mascara mini I have and wanted to try the Pat McGarth next. Maybe I still should and it would be a strategic move in case I want to continue using They're Real vs. this one in case it doesn't work for me. Hopefully this is just a hiccup and the formula works for you again.

As much I love Pat, I’m not a fan of this mascara. Experiencing the same as you, and it also smells off.

FetishEyes Mascara sample

I never requested a sample and my husband who on occasion submits for free samples for me didn't either. Any ideas how I got this? The sender on the package was a distribution center in Illinois. I'm excited to try it but I'd also love to solve the mystery of how I received it.

I received the same Pat McGrath mascara in the mail today, last fall I received the La Mer sample. Thank you for posting- I do subscribe to the Allure Box, so I thought it might be a bonus for subscribers. It’s 5/8ths of the full size, so it’s a pretty good sample. I’m really excited to try it, I haven’t used any Pat McGrath products yet.
