Since the brand is coming to Sephora. I thought I'd start a thread just for the brand for news and info.

Mothership VI Eyeshadow Palette - Midnight Sun
Thx @Luvstravel. Unfortunately, the ones i want still OOS. PMG direct wants to save money for me 😉
@blackkitty2014, Sorry your items are still OOS. I just about pulled the trigger on the 3 mothership palettes which would have been $225 with discount, but I've purchased so much over the past 2 months, I just couldn't 🙄
@Luvstravel, or you can save your points to trade for those. I just redeemed 2500 pts for $100 discount code the other day. Basically, i paid $26 something including tax for Mothership III palette ;). I still need Mothership I though 😉
@blackkitty2014, Your right on cashing in the points, because the main one I want is Mothership III.
Thanks @Luvstravel. Just picked up 3 mattetrance lipsticks in Fever Dream, Beautiful Stranger and Executive Realness.
I have fallen down the Pat McGrath rabbit hole, and now I need to find a way to organize and store all of my PMG e/s palettes! Does anyone use cute acrylic organizers to store their PMG Motherships and the mini Motherships? Which ones do you have? Right now I have everything stored in their original boxes but I'd rather have everything easy to grab and somewhat organized.
@nomzCookie There are a few threads where folks show their makeup collections and storage solutions, if you’re interested. Here’s one of them: https://community.sephora.com/t5/Makeup-Is-Life/Show-Me-Your-Beauty-Collections/m-p/3285210/highligh...
Funny: just last night, I moved all my skincare off the wall so I could make room for my PMG 6-pan palettes.
If you’ve got countertop/tabletop space, you could store your palettes in napkin holders. I’ve seen a couple of BIC members’ photos of that, and they look really nice! There are lots of ideas in that thread I linked to. 🙂
@WinglessOne Thank you! I will enjoy looking at the thread you linked.
Your wall storage is so innovative- I've never seen something like that! I see you have Brush Guards on your newly washed m/u brushes- I just got some from Beautylish, and they're great! Now all of my old Mac 217's will have a better shape, thank heavens. They were starting to splay out.
I actually may have found something similar to what I'm imagining for the PMG Motherships- a large-ish acrylic organizer with dividers in it! The one pictured below is from ByAlegory, and it's called the Acrylic E/e Palette Organizer for Mult-Sized Palettes. It's only 5.6" wide though. Maybe I can find something wider since the Motherships are long! Thank you for all of your help!
@fiercestpoodle ☹️ Oh no! This made me check my Flesh 3 that I bought this year but haven’t worn in 2 months. [EDIT: Mine is batch P058.] It’s not white, but it has lightened up just a teeny bit. None of my other MatteTrances are like that at all. How odd!
Since the MatteTrance bullets have a powdery coating, I wonder if temperature change affects that powder coat to make it look like wax bloom. I just wiped Flesh 3 down, and I’ll recheck it as I wear it to see if it starts looking bloomy again.
I also wonder: if you emailed PMG customer care your Flesh 3 photos, politely told them the story, and asked them what’s causing that white coating, they might at least have an explanation. I know you bought these from Sephora instead of PMG direct, but you might wanna see what their customer care can do for you, if anything. I mean hey, it never hurts to ask, right? 🙂
@WinglessOne Thanks! It didn't occur to me to contact Pat McGrath directly. And since the 25% sale is still on at the Pat Mc Grath website, maybe I'll give it a 3rd try by ordering directly from them as others have also suggested. If I do, I'll be sure to post a pic!
Aw, that's such a disappointment, @fiercestpoodle. 😞
@Luvstravel I'm seriously considering it right now!
@fiercestpoodle None of my PMG lipsticks have arrived bloomed (I have 20something of them). I’m guessing yours was due to temperature. Sounds like Sephora’s already sending you a replacement, hooray! Hope your new one’s perfect. 🙂
I don’t usually see bloom on my bullets unless they haven’t been used in a year or longer. It’s happened the most on some old Wet N Wild MegaLast lipsticks, and on some old underused MAC Satins and Lustres. I’m kind of surprised to see a brand new bullet arrive with so much wax bloom, especially a fairly recent line like the MatteTrances. Huh.
@fiercestpoodle I have only gotten a lipstick with the wax bloom once in my entire life, and that was from Tarte when they had a sale and were clearing out discontinued inventory. The lipsticks were also dry, and I knew they were old.
I don't know every reason that causes that to happen (maybe cold weather can too?) I would definitely return it. You shouldn't have an issue with Sephora accepting it. I don't know if you will get a timely response from the Customer Support page (I've never tried that,) so if you don't hear something back soon, I would just call Customer Service.
@Ispend2much6 Thank you! I could not find anywhere on line to find the Pat McGrath batch number manufacture date, which is why I posted that as well. So I'm still unsure whether it is old product or otherwise. The @PenelopeBT customer support page was awesome and they fixed my order immediately.
I think I will use the customer support page from now on with online order issues. I REALLY love that I can post pictures of the "proof" of damage, whereas on the phone, they just have to take your word for it.
