Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@volta  Dispute the charge with your credit card company or bank. Make sure you retain all correspondence and your tracking number. Print out a copy of the tracking history. The more paperwork you have to provide for the dispute, the better.

I had no issue with my return to PMG, but Target once gave me the run around and I had to dispute.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Pat just posted this to her IG... There is nothing special about it or it's caption but... what if her next release is neon's??? OMG I'd die! Pure speculation here 😄

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

This would be incredible, I love neon! 💚

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

I would love something in a neon turquoise like in the photo!

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@PrettyPaintme too! 🙂 And also neon pink, yellow, orange and green 😄

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

After being REALLY excited about getting the Metalmorphosis kit I'm ashamed to say I still haven't opened it. Has anyone had success with this kit besides @kso1225

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Lyrical0238 I'm glad I'm not the only one, I was feeling very guilty. My Everything Kit has been sitting on my vanity patiently waiting. I've just had way too much going on recently to be able to play with my makeup like I want to. Hopefully I'll be able to get to it before Christmas.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@KMariel I'm glad I'm not the only one with the Everything Kit sitting unopened. I've had a few chances to play with it, but I didn't want to open it without some input from the lovely ladies on BT.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

I love my pigments,I have been using them with too faced shadow insurance (the regular one). The creams are ok but the stars of this kit are the pigments for me.I don't wear black eye liner so no comments on that.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Seymore3 Thank you for telling me your opinion on the kit. I don't really wear black liner either, so I was going to give the liner away or trade it (if I keep the kit).

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

I've been testing mine out one shade at a time and as long as I use primer it holds up beautifully all day.

the only shade that's given me trouble is the silver cream - it creased on me very noticeably.  All the powder pigments have worked fine, though, as have the rest of my creams.

my only real disappointment has been the liner. My eyes are not prone to products smearing and I don't rub them but the liner does not stay put at all.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Yes, the liner is very dissapointing for me as well. I don't think I have ever had liner on the top lid smear as much as this did. I'm afraid to even try it again, especially if I'm going out in public.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Which primer and how are you applying? TIA!  @Mochapj

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@wheeeee I've used a few different primers, depending on how I want to wear the product.

if I'm using one of the creams all over the lid, I use Nars pro prime, then pat on the cream. in some instances I've left it at that and used powder shadow for creasework, etc, but in other cases I've topped the cream with one of the powder pigments.

if I am only trying to use the powder pigments as a patted on product on top of my shadow, i use tom ford primer pot (apply cream base and then set with included powder) then apply my eyeshadow look and use a fingertip to press the powder pigment on top of that. In general I don't apply pigments like this with a brush - too much fallout that way.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

Thank you for the tips @Mochapj. I have oily lids so I was worried after a few people had problems with the creams creasing.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Lyrical0238 I have very oily lids too, so I sympathize. 😉

The NARS is usually the primer that holds product onto my lids the best.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Mochapj I need to try the NARS primer. I just tried the UD anti-aging primer today but I think I had a reaction to it. Do you have other primer suggestions?

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Lyrical0238 I was a devoted user of the NARS primer and recommend it as well, however, last year I switched to Smashbox 24 Hour and haven't looked back. I have a deluxe sample of the Too Faced and have been trying to incorporate it every once in awhile just to test it and I can't say it holds up well on oily eye lids. Last night I was all creased and faded by bed time. The Smashbox has lasted a 16 hour day with shadow looking fresh.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@talinder Thank you for the recommendation. I will add Smashbox to my list as well. I know how you feel about your eye look not holding up. I just experienced that yesterday after using products that I typically use.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Lyrical0238 I've tried a few...

I've tried the UD but I find on my lids it makes things harder to blend.

I've tried the various Too Faced ones (regular, champagne, glitter glue) and they work to keep stuff from creasing but I always found my shadows are more faded in color when I use them.

The NARS is my favorite at the moment.  The Tom Ford one works well for me too, but it was a gift and I don't think I'd repurchase it for myself.

I've also tried the Lorac one and it worked decently but the brand is hard for me to find in Canada so I don't bother with it regularly.

Re: PAT McGRATH LABS

@Mochapj I will definitely try the Nars primer next. I might have a sample of the Too Faced primers from a Sephora order months ago, so I can try that as well. Thanks!
