@Libellules I went to the Houston store a year or two ago and was blown away! I could have stayed in there forever, but we had an event to go to that evening so I was swatching like a mad woman. I'm so jealous of you!  I'm close to Washington, DC but the stores in that area didn't get the lip kits. DC needs a flagship store next!

Got my lip kit in Bloodwine today.  Open up the package and gold pigment is everywhere inside the bag.  Funny thing is that the container is sealed and there is no visible damage to it but if I even lightly tap it, more pigment leaks out.  Pretty sure that there's a problem with how the sifter and lid fit on.  I'm pretty bummed because the pigment is gorgeous and I was hoping to use it with other uses.  Has this happened to anyone else or am I just special?

I received the Flesh kit today and found the same thing: gold pigment on the unopened, sealed container. I cleaned it off and opened it finding more inside the lid. The plastic seal seemed secure. However, the cap screws on but seems to come off too quickly. I have it placed carefully in an organizer drawer and will just be careful. I was bummed also as I am leaving on a trip to Las Vegas in 2 weeks and don't want a big mess....

Hi @teufel I had some pigment in the bag and all over the pot but same as you mentioned, the container was sealed and not damaged.  Thankfully a little goes a long way.

Okay, I just wanted to confirm, because this has been throwing me off the last couple of days: are the icons for Bloodwine and Venom lip kits switched? Because Bloodwine is the deeper red and the deep burgundy and Venom is the lighter red and the lighter burgundy-ish color, yet the icon to select Venom is the one with the deeper shades. Just want to be absolutely certain I'm ordering the right one haha...

@Anonymous @poohblueberry Just wanted to let you know that I sent screen shots over to a mod. 🙂  Just so odd that they were ok the first time I reported a problem. lol

@veronika23 Thank you so much for contacting the mods with the correct info; hopefully they'll switch the Venom and Bloodwine lippie colors around. I wouldn't hold my breath though! 😉

@poohblueberry NP 🙂 They did make the proper switch before the launch so hopefully they'll do this one too... but I contacted Sephora like 5 times for a mistake in MUFE and it's still not fix 😄

well there's a problem again now like you said... initially the pictures for bloodwine and vermillion venom didn't match the names both the big pic and the swatch pic and I did look between both sites... the easy way to tell them apart was the glitter... that was the only problem. pictures not matching the name. The pictures themselves were ok... now the lipstick shades in the pictures do not match the kit... what the what???? I'll try and get in touch with the mod that made the request.  It was all fixed... I'm 99% sure of that so unsure what happened and why the colors don't match now... weird!

yeah! They've had quite a few mistake on the site this year. One of which I reported at least 5 times and still not fixed.  Do the sets make more sense now even though the problem hasn't been fixed?

Yes! A day ago it was more confusing because there weren't that many swatches of the two kits available, so I was doubting whether I was seeing things but with the swatches, it's much clearer 🙂

Ok good 🙂  It feels like they fixed the mistake... was all good and now someone went to play with it and there's a new problem lol  I am pretty sure went I reported the first mistake the pictures were fine... it was just the names didn't match the pic.

I did some digging (back to 4 days ago) and although the icons seem backward, they are correct. Also, when you click on the icon, the label on the bag shows you which shade you're ordering.

Thanks for looking into it. I think I'm just confused because take Mocha's swatch (or the multiple other swatches I've found):

The darker Bloodwine (Blood 2) is much deeper than darker Venom (Venom 2). However, when I hover over the pictures on the item page, "Venom 2" is much deeper than "Blood 2." Sorry maybe I'm overthinking it but this is just driving me bonkers...it's like I'm imagining things lol

Ironically, I think the glitter colors are correct, just the lipstick colors might be switched?

@Anonymous I decided to take a look at Pat McGrath's website, and you are absolutely right about the glitter colors being correct but the lipstick colors are switched when you look at or click on the icon(s) on Sephora's site. 

Let's put it this way:

Venom (the "lighter" red/burgundy lippies) should go with the orangey-red glitter, and Bloodwine (the "darker" red/burgundy lippies) should go with the fuchsia-red glitter.
