Oh yes come to think of it, could be close to cassiopeia.  I know I have things in the same type of family but I don't think the shift is exactly the same color or as strong. I think I may need to pull out some well stored stuff to compare lol 😄

@veronika23 Here it is with Cassiopeia (left) similar tones but the nars is cooler.

And it's just slightly darker than the new UD aura highlighter (left)

@veronika23 It was driving me crazy trying to figure out what I own that's the same (I knew there was something), and I finally did.

it is a more finely milled version of the white shade in TF ripe plum (left)

@Mochapj ohhhhh... It's true... the white shade from those duo's are like duochrome/iridescent shades. Looks really close in this pic. The PM is more red right... like the "flash" is stronger.

@veronika23 it is really close, much more so IRL than what I captured in the picture.

The TF is coming off more white in the picture, I think because it is a bit more 'chunky' and is reflecting more light with its glitter bits.  The PM has a tiny bit more flash IRL, but not a ton.

Small review sans-pics since i can't capture the glint off my face at all.

I have been wearing the nude pigment for the last couple days, and I really like it over a pink blush, or even as an eye highlight. I would hesitate to use it on my forehead or nose though since it flashes pink. The brush that came with it is great. I like that it picks only a small amount, which is more than enough.

The NARS Multiple-like end of the stick (the highlighter) is great, but I am not quite sure what to do with the balm. It seems to work under the highlighter or pigment as a bling-magnifier, but i don't need that much bling 😛 It also looks like I could just use, say, a transparent Fresh lip balm instead for the same effect.

All in all, I am pleased with my purchase, if not over the moon. I wish they had made a more neutral peach-white or very pale gold version of it. As high as the quality of the pigment is, it is not a universally applicable color like, say, Becca Moonstone or Champagne. I will be on the lookout for future pigment releases though- they are really high quality.

Mini-review for anyone who was curious: I purchased both kits, but have only worn the nude so far (though swatched the golden). That said, I'm impressed. It applies really easily over foundation (doesn't drag/displace), you can blend it for a more sheer look (the stick), and you can play around with the balm+pigment duo (blend balm gently/soften edges before adding pigment) to get a softer look. It lasted through one incredibly rainy day. I'm wearing the stick at work today and it's not too overt.

Two of my primary concerns about this would be wearability (it doesn't seem very subtle) and how well it would play with other products and on both of those fronts, I'm really quite pleased.  I think I grabbed a decent photo but it'll have to wait until after work to share.

It's been live for at least half an hour now and there's no sign of website crashing or running out of stock. I am impressed. I already bought mine on Pat's site, but if I had known it was going to got his smoothly on Sephora I would have waited. I guess limiting the initial run to VIBs and VIB Rouge helps? Or maybe the West Coast folks aren't up yet.

I picked up nude from Pat McGrath direct and decided to go back for the gold today - not sure how it will look on my fair skin, but I'm having a hard time getting nude to show up for some reason....

Got my golden 🙂 I happened to refresh two minutes ago and it was up still (thankfully lol).  Used some gift cards I had and got another Tata Harper mask deluxe sample as I really like the one I have right now!
