@veronika23 yes, definitely a silver lining. Embarrassing story though, I accidentally broke another Mini Star while I was in store and I had it in my hand. I though for sure they would charge me for it but they were super nice about it.

Quick question to anyone who has the 5 pan palette (not mini) in Camel (or other shades). I picked it up and the pans are attached using a magnet. The magnets are pretty weak and two pans have popped out. I am able to put them back in, I'm just wondering if that's how it for everyone or just mine? The pans are also smaller then the space, so its easy to put a pin or metal nail file in to remove the pan and the pans move while in the palette.

@Aaliaa I have the Camel Palette and have had no issues with pans popping out at all. Actually, I’ve been pretty impressed with how sturdy the packaging feels.

@AaliaaI have the cranberry which has the magnet system (old 5 pans are glued down), and it's a pretty tight fit. The pans don't move in mine and the magnet is good.. I flipped it upside down and nothing moved. It was hard to get the pan out using the little hole on the back of the palette. So maybe it's a camel issue or maybe it's yours? Hopefully someone that has the camel can chime in.

Thanks for checking for me @veronika23. The magnets seem pretty week, more then any other magnet I've experienced so I might go check a display palette in store when I get the chance.

I’m not a smokey eyeshadow kind of girl, @veronika23 but I keep thinking about using these topcoats over my liquid liner!!! I’ve been doing a brown wing lately and this would be so perfect overtop!

Here are my Mini Star swatches. They swatched really well for me, but I can see how the duo on Orion might be lost depending on how you apply it. I’m really excited for Bellatrix and Earth though. Bellatrix is just so pretty and I don’t have a deep brown matte like that. I think it you’re on the fence about it or are new to ND, it’s worth grabbing it.

Some swatches of the Cranberry palette for anyone interested.  1-2 swatches of the shimmers and 3-4 of the mattes (these didn’t swatch well for me)  I did not use a primer.
