@veronika23 I tried on the KVD lipstick in "Magick" a few days ago and can't stop thinking about it.  Should I buy it?  I've had bad luck with lipsticks recently, even if I try them on in the store.

@greeneyedgirl107  magick is one of my fave colors! like @veronika23 said, be sure to exfoliate your lips. i also love ABH lip primer or MAC prep and prime underneath- it helps with dry formulas like colourpop or studded kiss!

@greeneyedgirl107 it's definitely a drier formula, but if you use a primer I don't find it uncomfortable! The shades are so lovely that it's worth the extra work for me, and it lasts forever:)

@greeneyedgirl107  I think you have your answer right there 😉 you said you can't stop thinking about it so why not go ahead and buy it.  If it's really that bad you can always return or trade for it.

Also make sure you exfoliate your lips and use plenty of good quality lip balm. You want to make sure your lips are nice for a perfect lipstick application.  I pretty much always wear my lip balm underneath lipstick 🙂

I recently tried the lock it edge foundation brush and I was completely blown away. I never would have chosen the brush for myself because of the unfamiliar shape, but an SA at Sephora used it on me an I had to have it.

 OMG I know I'm a little late to the party but I just got Plath and WOW is it a beautiful color. I was nervous when I was looking at online swatches cuz it seemed too red to me, but this is the perfect brick red color. I am so happy with this shade especially since KVD liquid lipsticks are my absolute favorite for wear and dry down without discomfort. Next splurge will be Crucifix and I'm so eyeing Gold Skool even though I have no idea how I will actually pull it off!!

I keep trying, but I'm not loving this palette from all the swatches I've seen. I think I've bought just about everything KVD's put out, and as much as I love the original Shade & Light is as cold as this new one leaves me.

I don't know, maybe it looks better in person. Thanks for the updates, though, @veronika23- you're great!

I really wanted to like this palette- I feel the same way! When I heard it was coming out I knew I had to have it but now I'm just not impressed at all after having seen all the swatches =/
