@Anonymous I do have a few that you mentioned, but they all suffer from the same problems that McMenamy seems to have: patchy, uneven application, feathering, inconsistent wearing, and sinking into lip lines. The hunt will continue, thanks for the suggestions on some shades I don't (yet) own 😉

@LCResz If you don't get McMenamy, there are some other brands that have vampy looking colors.

Liquid Lipsticks:

Anastasia Beverly Hills- Vamp (deep burgundy), Heathers (a bit lighter than Vamp), and Sad Girl ( purple/berry)

Stila- Rubino (redish burgundy)

Kat Von D- Vampira (burgundy), Exorcism (blackberry), and Damned (black cherry)

Too faced: Bite Me (deep red)

*Some formulas are better on others. Some people hate Stila but it has to be one of my favs. Hope this helps! 😄

@Anonymous you're my lipstick twinsie! Those are the two I ordered as well, but I'm debating getting McMenamy... I love a dark, vampy lip but the reviews aren't as great for this shade as the ones I did pick up. The struggle is real.

I shouldn't have looked at Temptalia's post. I'm always conflicted when it comes to her lipstick swatches. Now I don't know if I should get Omi or Flesh 3 (I'm "allowed" one only lol). I'm wanting this for a nude lip that's not a nude lip cause I don't want to look washed out if that makes any sense. I also want a lip I can throw on and have it look great regardless of what eyeshadow colors I'm wearing. Uhhhh Temptalia comparing Omi to Bite's pepper is making me second guess myself. I thought Omi would be a bit darker. Any opinion is greatly appreciated.

I'm NC10-15 and Omi is much darker on me than it is in the temptalia photos. After I saw her photos I thought maybe I had received the wrong color by mistake.

@veronika23 IKR??? I keep going and looking at @sabrinas swatches instead. I just thought it would be a different color is all especially with all those PR photos of Omi that have that lip brush applying it to a girl's lips....

@myumew The lipstick close-up is the most matte-looking in-the-tube lipstick shot I think I've ever seen!

So I went to check out if the US site had a date because it's already available in the UK and Net-A-Porter says: " * Unfortunately Pat McGrath Labs will not be available in the US."...  interesting...

@Mochapj  oh I wonder... I'm more curious to know if 001 and 002 will make a comeback and if she's coming out with something else for the eyes... she made a comment alluding to that.

Has anyone heard that they ran out of product? I pre-ordered and received a shipping notification on Thursday but the only update is the label was created. I saw someone say PM ran out of product. I don't mind waiting, but I'm kind of bummed they haven't reached out to anyone and also that people who pre-ordered are having to wait even longer.

You might try checking the tracking again @BesosDeMariposa. I had a label created around the 20th and it first showed movement yesterday- so about a week.

@BesosDeMariposa  oh no!!!! I hadn't heard about this! Did you try emailing them? I know it sucks but hopefully they would reply in a timely manner.  I know the cs was good back when I ordered 003 but not sure how it is now.  I hope you get your products! Please keep us updated.

@sabrinas - do you feel like OMI or Flesh 3 is a must have or is very dupable (I can't remember, but Flesh 3 kinda reminds me of MJ's "Kate")? You have never steered me wrong on a lip color. Anything that looks great on you looks great on me. You're like my lipstick fairy godmother :D. Thanks so much for the swatches/input it was quite helpful!

@niki172 omg lol thanks! You made me blush ;). I would say flesh 3 is not like kate at all! Kate is a medium-deep berry while flesh 3 is more like a terracotta color. I do think both are dupeable but the feeling on your lips is definitely different. They feel very thin and almost velvetty! Id say get them and see how you like em! If they don't work for you, you can always swap em or return to sephora 🙂
