Ahhhh @SportyGirly125, I can totally understand taking a pause on spending. I hope you finish your certification soon!! Pilates and yoga are the best, inside and out. When you teach you'll help ppl in ways they may not even realize. Plus, I love that some of the teachers choose to take their craft on the road, hosting summits and experiencing other cities/countries. Good luck to you 💜

@furbie Thank you. I have to test out before September. I have been taking Pilates from my teacher for over two years. It’s easier to do on my own but teaching it to someone who isn’t body aware is pretty challenging. Mine is harder because it’s more anatomy biomechanics based. I’m not just trying to get you through the exercises. It’s more therapy.

Okay!! You seem to have enough time @SportyGirly125. That's what I meant about the added benefits. Pilates and yoga can be therapeutic. I used to be heavy on HIIT classes (only) until one of the ladies at my gym suggested I take a pilates and yoga class at least once a week. She said it would be good to keep my muscles loose, but I quickly found that Pilates is more than just another exercise. It really centers you.

@SportyGirly125 I'm interested to see how these are. I haven't bought a MAC lipstick in so long but their matte lipstick was iconic. I can't believe it's now $25! I remember when they were $16, which feels like yesterday 👵

Thanks for the heads-up, @SportyGirly125 ! I saw MAC’s email this afternoon and skimmed the terms in the footer. I’ll have to remember I can’t use points toward Viva Glam items—which makes sense because MAC’s supposed to donate 100% of those proceeds to causes in their Viva Glam program. Since one of my favorite lipsticks (and repeat purchases) is Viva Glam III, I can see myself trying to use points on that purchase and forgetting that shade’s ineligible. 

What do you think of the point conversion value? I wish MAC would do this closer to the way Ulta does it, or even the way Nordstrom does it. On the other hand, 40% off a $50 order’s not too bad. And $10 for 100 points ($100 spent) is better than Sephora’s $10 for 500. 🤷‍♀️

@SportyGirly125  Me too. I’ll keep recycling anyway, but it sure was nice to get freebies in exchange, and I’m sure that helped encourage other folks to recycle who might not have otherwise.

Thought some others may be interested... I was going to do a final "back to mac" last night online as the program was ending on March 31st 2023 (at least the freebie product in return for 6 empties was ending).  I didn't realise that the online version was meant to end on the 27th.  The lovely woman on chat told me I should call the 1800 number.  The gent on the phone then let me know that they would be extending the online return until June 30th.  I did ask if this was for both Canada and the US and he told me he only knew about Canada.  

The email I got from MAC:
