Has anyone tried the new Lacquers yet? I'm curious, but gun-shy. Even coverage? Do they bleed (without lots of prep...I'm a one-step lip gal...if I have to prime and line and all that jazz, I'm out)?

@SportyGirly125  @RGbrown  It’s on my Try It list, so I’ll look for it next time I’m at my local MAC-stocked Ulta—which is just up the street from the standalone MAC store and a Nordstrom so, one way or another, I’m sure to find this stuff. 😂 I suspect Ulta won’t have the blue shade, but they might have the dark purple one. I’d like to use Ulta points to buy it. Or I could use a Nordy Note at Nordstrom. I’m just trying not to pay out of pocket for it. 

I am HIGHLY suspicious of MAC’s no feathering claim, especially after the email they sent today with tips for applying this stuff so it won’t bleed... like, seriously MAC? This will be interesting. 

But you said it doesn’t feather! 😠

That email is exactly what prompted me to ask! It kinda sounds like the claim is really "doesn't bleed*", we swear...

*as long as you prime twice (!), then line with foundation (because not even a liner will contain this), and definitely don't apply to your whole lip.   <-------- this makes me think it might not be the product for me. Having to get a foundation match just to wear a lipstick seems a bit ridiculous 😂

It's 5x at Ulta this weekend, and I was debating ordering one...then I saw the email. 🙄🤔🤔

BTW, Ulta only has 11 shades online, and blue isn't in one of them. I wouldn't think it would be in store either, so Nordstrom might be your better bet 😊
