Let's talk about Charlotte Tilbury..

I already have the Filmstar bronze & glow palette but looking into some of her other products.

Does anyone have any experiences they would like to share esp with her Light Wonder Foundation, her blush and the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder? I'm interested in getting these three things but still on the fence about taking the plunge! 

Please let me know, many BTers opinions have helped me out on products before 😄 Thanks in advance!

from the description i assumed these wouldn't dry down completely and be similar to the BARE ones. I usually prefer transfer proof entirely but when i want a similar effect and my lips are dry i don't mind it. i really want to try charlotte darling and hesitate on best actress and rising star , since she doesn't accept returns and they are a bit pricey. Not sure if i should wait to see if beautylish gets them

I picked up two - Pin Up Pink and Screen Siren - to test out. I tend to prefer traditional lipstick bullets over liquid lipsticks but sometimes a liquid lipstick is just what I need. CT pleasantly surprises me, so we'll see 🙂 I'll make sure to report back! 

I picked up Pin Up Pink in particular since it's described as a "shimmering" coral pink. I have my eye on a couple more, so if I'm happy with the formula I hope to pick up some others.

I love charlotte tilbury's lipsticks but I think these will be a pass for me--I'm not super in love with liquid lips for the most part and i always get a bunch in subscription boxes and such.

Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks are so hit and miss with me that I have to try them on in person. That said, these look flat to me, like uber matte vs. matte. Look forward to others' observations and posts.

My new favorite cream shadow is on sale:  Eyes to Mesmerise in Marie Antoinette.

Question:  Is it on sale because it's being discontinued, or is this a staple and they just need to rotate stock.

In one scenario, I purchase a back up. In the other, I don't purchase because I only just started my current pot.

It might just be stock rotation. I purchased Bette when it was on sale last summer, and it's currently available at full price. Oh and I see Marie Antoinette is also listed at full price? Mona Lisa, Verushka and Cleopatra are 30% off.

I no longer buy back ups of things- especially makeup things. I never finish the original thing so I end up buying something I never get to and then I donate it. I've had some of these pot creams for 2+ years and they are still in tact. I use them often but if you have a bunch you probably won't want it again.

Thank you, @mrsbaine. Some very sound advice. I am a little sad at the prospect that it will be discontinued, but, realistically, by the time I use it up 2 years from now, the replacement would be sketchy anyway (since cream formula). Fingers crossed it's just a need to rotate stock to keep quality of the cream shadows high (not dried out).
