Delay in processing my return.

I returned an item recently and the tracking states that it was accepted and signed for on Tuesday May 5th. I haven’t heard anything yet. Is it supposed to take this long or could there be an issue? I also sent an email to customer service 5 days ago and haven’t heard back. What can I do at this point?
