tangled hair

Growing up, I've always had a problem with my hair getting super tangled super fast. What's the best detangler out there and how do you guys proactively treat tangles?

Re: tangled hair

Another vote for Wet Brush. My hair is in good condition but is still a complete tangled, knotty mess after washing. The Wet Brush is the only thing Ive found that really works. A little Moroccanoil helps too! 🙂

RE: tangled hair

One of the reason Hair tangles quick is you have split ends. What I have found for my clients is most that tangle easy all the time is they have fine hair and there cuticle is lifted. Try a smoothing shampoo and conditioner. It will help with this and definitely a wet brush.

This has helped me lots. The tangles slip out and then there is a comb thing that you use while the conditioner is in still that helps you comb them out while still in the shower. Give it a try, it worked for me.

Re: tangled hair

Have you tried the Tangle Teaser? My hair gets crazy tangled after I shower and my Tangle Teaser gets the tangles out in a minute! I'll link it down below for you to check out.

RE: tangled hair

Grab yourself a Wet Brush. Best invention ever! I have ridiculously long hair and that brush detailed it with such ease.

RE: tangled hair

It’s a 10 leave in and a wet brush. Also, if you haven’t had a haircut in a while could cause the hair to tangle.

RE: tangled hair

I use the Iles Formula Conditioner. It comes with a comb that you can keep in your shower and comb through your hair while the conditioner is in. The tangles literally slide out.

Re: tangled hair

I use a leave in conditioner to prevent tangles. My favourite is the Alterna CC hair cream, I can’t go without it or my hair turns into a disaster nest. I love to use it on my toddler as well, she used to get crazy knots from her bed head, and this has saved her little hairs!

Re: tangled hair

Try the Garnier 3 Oil Therapy Leave-in Oil Spray, it has ingredients that really help softening hair: Olive Oil, Avocado, and Shea Butter...but it will not weigh down or make your hair oily at all! I have very fine hair and a few spritzes after a shower is all it takes. It leaves my hair so smooth and shiny, plus there are no tangles. Also, it's super inexpensive (yay for the wallet!), you'll find it in any drugstore.
