bumble and bumble - worth the hype??

Hi Gals,

I've been checking out the Bumble and Bumble line, and I've gotta say I'm intruiged. I was thinking of trying Brilliatine, the Surf Spray and that Spray de Monde stuff. Everyone says they're amazing...but the price tag? Not so much. Are they REALLY worth the hype? Be honest!!

I love Brilliantine!  It immediately smoothes out my hair and leaves a natural sheen without any oily or greasy feeling.  A small amount is plenty so even though it is a smaller tube it will last.  Also it makes it that much easier for it to live in my purse for emergencies. 😉

Surprisingly, I like the brand from what I have tried and what has been used in my hair by stylists.  Usually I never buy the salon  product suggestions because when I take them home, weird things happen to my hair after a while.  Bumble & bumble is one of the few higher end hair brands that I was impressed with and is an exception to the rule.  Among my favorites is the grooming creme.

Have not tried the brillantine but I might ask about it next time.  I've been curious about it too.  That one will be the easiest to take home a sample from Sephora.  I have not tried the other two since my hair is decently dry already (and gets worse in the winter). 

Another way to try out the products is to go to a salon that uses bumble & bumble and ask about the products.  Maybe even set up an appointment and see how it turns out. This also might be a good way to learn how to use the product(s) at their full potential. 

If you feel like giving them a whirl, go ahead.  Sephora does have a good return policy if you decide they are not worth the price.
