@angeemarie In addition to heat protection, you might want to consider a.smoothing shampoo and conditioner. These can help reduce the amount of heat styling you need if your goal is a smooth style. I am currently using Davines LOVE Smoothing Shampoo for Frizzy Hair .

@angeemarie I used to use Biolage conditioning balm, but switched to redken all soft heavy cream and have not looked back. I also rec redken all soft shampoo. I use redken frizz dismiss oil in serum. For a treatment I love amika Dream Routine Overnight Hydrating Hair Mask 3.3 oz / 100 mL . Try Grace eleyae slap cap for sleeping, too. Also, It's a 10 Miracle Leave in Product.

I am dealing with it right now! My hair was thick 3C 4B hair long down my back until I used the extra strength WOW Color and never again! I used the regular one first and should have stopped there. The regular one did a good job and I was happy with it. The extra strength was a huge NO NO. My hair was just coming out in small clumps in my hand when I would run my fingers through it or feel the ends between my fingers the ends would be left in my hand and on my clothes. I’m looking pretty pissed and my hair has broken off to nearly 2 inches in spots. Do not do not do not use this product.
