Thinning, Damaged, naturally curly hair

So, I am 20 years old & I've been using clip in hair extensions for about 3 years now, which has REALLY taken a toll on my hair thinning & fallout (when i wash my hair) wise. My hair is damaged & has breakage from regular heat styling, & dying with box dye etc. I have naturally curly hair also that doesn't really have curl anymore, more just wavy. Looking for a shampoo/conditioner, treatmeant, anything really that might help my stressed locks?

Re: Thinning, Damaged, naturally curly hair

I too have naturally curly hair and went natural two years ago. I have tried everything (I think!) and really like the Curly Girl method. If your not familiar with it you basically cut all sulfates and silicones out of your hair products. I have very fine flat hair so I can't "no-poo" as it weighs my hair down so I "low-poo". A great place to look at products and get advice is curlmart. Your first step towards healing is determining what your curl type which is explained on their website.  My favorite brands have been Curl Junkie and Elucence. You can buy both on the curlmart website. I hope this helps.
