Galaxy hair, mermaid hair, unicorn hair... I colored my hair this way for a long time before I learned that Instagram folks had made up cool names for it.

Oh, thank you for the tip @nikki!   I have a "conservative" job as well, so I don't mind if the color hides under cubicle lights.

I have had more colors than I can count😂 here are some of my favorites.

Little Miss Mermadelove's hair is better than mine! It's so full and curly! And I love the color combo! Ooo it's going to look so merm-tastic braided! If only my hair isn't brittle and fine! Are you going to dye the rest of her hair in the future @mermadelove?

@juliehnguyen  We love the color combo, I just didn't color the bleached out parts very well. She's gonna need some major conditioning, too. The bleach did a number on her gorgeous locks!! So, no. I'm not going to dye her whole head unless I can do it without bleach in the future!!!! Her hair is so gorgeous and now that part is a little damaged 😞

Little Miss Mermadelove's hair will get better @mermadelove! Just a little extra love and some awesome products and her hair should be as healthy as it was before! I remember that my cousin said to stay away from products with silicone dimethicone (or something close to that) after bleaching. Haha I don't know much about bleaching. But at the moment it's super cute! 🦄🦄

@juliehnguyen. I deep conditioned it with the Rahua omega 9 mask. Left it on for Ike 4 hours. Then dyed it. That Rahua mask was AMAZING!!! Her hair is back to its silky glory, and the color looks fabulous. She no longer has an ombré, but it does have dimension and depth. I’ll post a pic tomorrow when it is dry!!!! Also, we regularly use Clairol Hello hydration which has dimethicone. Both her hair and mine love it for detangling, conditioning and slip!!!

I tried a sample of the Rahua Omega-9 Mask and I have to agree that it is pretty hydrating and awesome! Have you tried the Briogeo Deep Conditioning Mask?! It is my holy grail deep conditioner! It saved my dried scalp and damaged hair from a product I tried out. Can't wait to see her hair! I saw the pic of her hair braided and I have to say she's such a cutie @mermadelove!

@juliehnguyen  The rahua is AMAZING!! THe reviews are so mixed though!! Literally mostly 1 or 5 star reviews. I didn't remember explicitly reading protein in the ingredients, but I know some people's hair reacts horribly to protein, getting dry and difficulty to untangle. Since so many of the bad reviews said that, I wonder if that is the culprit, 

Thanks for letting me know about the Briogeo! I actually have a deluxe sample of that, too and will try it out the next time I deep condition her hair. And if she takes her hair down this AM, I'll take a pic of the back so you can see the full effect!!!
