Redken acidic or Olaplex

Hi.
Between these two - Redken acidic bonding and Olaplex, which one do you recommend would help more with bleached, damaged hair? Is protein beneficial for weekly use? Or like stylists say, use in moderation??

They do different things, it’s not a fair comparison. Redken Acidic uses a low ph system (hence the acidic name) to barely open the cuticle, hence keeping it smooth and intact.
Olaplex goes into the cortex to repair damage.

As for your protein question, you cannot “over use” protein in modern days as no one uses animal protein in their products anymore. Protein is great for breakage, if that’s you then utilize it.

I have been using RedKen acidic for a year now and previously used Olaplex. I LOVE Redken. My hair is longer, stronger and feels healthy.
