Recommendations for thinning hair

Just a little overview of what my hair is dealing with. So I dye my hair and over the past 6 years I've noticed the thickness of my hair has gone down by twice the amount it used to be. My hair is naturally black and as of now it's a light brunette. I still want to go lighter (ash blonde), but I'm afraid if I do so my hair will be no more. Looking for something that will help my hair grow back to it's original thickness and perhaps make it stronger along the way. I've seen family use the extracts straight from the aloe vera plant and that has worked wonders, but I don't want to have to deal with the sticky residue. May have to resort to that as a last option unless I get some good recommendations. Thanks~!

This is good if your hair is thin at the scalp. If you look up Zoey Cavey on youtube she has a good video about it specifically for thinning hair at the scalp.
