Oily and Flaky Scalp

I have an oily scalp. It use to be oily by the end of the day but now I've got it where it's oily by the 2nd day. I've tried many dry shampoos from drug store to high end and the only one that can control the oil is IGK First Class Charcoal Detox Dry Shampoo 6.3 oz/ 288 mL, it has worked wonders for me. Also not showering everyday has helped with the oiliness (but not with the flakes). I also have a flaky scalp and have tried many products to help with it but it isn't fully gone. The shampoos that I used that helped control these are Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Shampoo, Matrix Biolage Scalp Sync Antidandruff Shampoo and Matrix Biolage Scalp Sync Shampoo for Oily Hair and Scalp. My Daughter was put on Ketoconazole Shampoo 2% for her hair, I thought it was just dandruff for her and nothing would work and her doctor prescribed her this and it worked for her. I tried it on myself for 4 weeks as well and it didn't really do much for me. Any suggestions on what to use? I'm thinking next of trying out CHRISTOPHE ROBIN - Purifying Scalp Scrub with Sea Salt and CHRISTOPHE ROBIN - Purifying Shampoo for Oily or Flaky Scalp.

Hi @NinaNee I'm sorry to hear that! I agree with trying the CHRISTOPHE ROBIN - Purifying Scalp Scrub with Sea Salt and the CHRISTOPHE ROBIN - Purifying Shampoo for Oily or Flaky Scalp. Those two really worked for me and also giving my scalp a break and while showering everyday, I made sure to only wash my hair 2-3 times per week. I hope they work for you!

Thanks @BrendaBT I think I'll have to pick up both products soon. If I wasn't flaky then I think I would be able to go longer in between showers. On days/weeks that I'm more flaky, I have to go every other day with showering. I feel too insecure, especially because I have black hair and the flakes are so noticeable.
