Oily Hair, HELP!

I have a lot of thin hair. If that makes sense. The strands themselves are thin but I have tons of hair. I guess it's the weight of it all that's causing all this oil build up. I need some suggestions. I do dye it, I recently went from platinum back to a semi natural brunette. I am tired of washing it everyday, please help! What products can give me a few more days with out turning into a total oil ball?!

Re: Oily Hair, HELP!

OH! And also try not to touch your hair throughout the day. I know, it's hard, but the oils from your hands can transfer to the hair and make it extra greasy.

Re: Oily Hair, HELP!

Girl! You need some dry shampoo! There's a really nice one from the Elizabeth and James perfume line that's available at Sephora. It smells like a dreaaaam.

(Pssst! -- Batiste makes an amazing one, but unfortunately Sephora doesn't carry that brand. You can find it at your local CVS, Wallgreens, Walmart, Shoppers Drug Mart etc.)

Re: Oily Hair, HELP!

Second the dry shampoo suggestion.  I have tried a few and my fave is the Bumble & Bumble pret a powder.  Sprinkle on roots at night before bed and it sucks up extra oil and also gives you some volume.  There is a small size if you want to give it a whirl before committing to the regular bottle.
