Need hair help

Hi I added a picture so you’re able to see my hairs condition. My hairdresser says all these hairs sticking out are normal but i need help to make it healthy again. I understand hair cannot be repaired but I hope to change the appearance of it and make it grow out healthier it has never ever looked like this is my life 😞
