How do i do my hair before going to the salon?

Without water

Without waiting one hour

I'm not sure if the stylist has to comb through my hair a certain way

 my hair etc is straightened from a perm done at the salon months ago

The lengths and roots are dry and damaged thick

Also...

The lengths and roots kink when the air is on 

Roots feel like 4c (dense coarse)

Shoulder length 

The only products I own is a neck scarf, green olive oil, flat iron not wide not too skinny digital high heat

I don't own the kiehls product

You don’t need to style your hair before going to the salon..

If you were advised to come with clean hair, then that’s all you need to do.
