Hair tangles horribly after styling!

I don't know about anyone else, but my fine, thin hair ALWAYS tangles really badly after styling. In other words, using a curling iron, rollers, curling wand, or tousling will ensure that I have tons of snarls and tangles later on. Does anyone know how to prevent this situation? Or, what is the best way to deal with it and un-tangle hair without serious damage?

We have the same hair type @Adonialady8 and I feel your pain! Constant birds nest situation if I don't keep my hair under control lol. I find that masks and leave in treatments have made a world of a difference for my hair. 

I use a hair mask every time I wash my hair. The extra couple of minutes in the shower are totally worth it! Before you start using your heat styling tools I recommend going in with a heat protection spray like this one from Alterna:

Lastly, to get tangles out I use the Suave kids detangler spray lol. No, really!! It totally works. That with my Tangle Teezer gets the job done 🙂
