Honestly, I prefer to keep it inexpensive and easy, I use coconut oil once a week, combing it through my hair, pinning it up, wrapping my head in plastic, and relaxing in a bath or with a book for around 20 minutes.  Then I shampoo 2x to get all the oil out and use a lightweight conditioner to follow.  It works like a charm!
