I have medium length, unbelievably straight brown hair that I dearly love, but sometimes I want to get a curl for special occasions. I have a curling iron (I think it is an inch or inch and a half barrel). But no matter what I do I can't get good curls. I really don't like volume in my hair, but I know it is needed sometimes. I have also tried overnight heatless curls... but that left my hair so messy. Any tips?? Also, first pic is my hair after I curl it. It leaves these waves. THe second pic is how ut usually looks (Sorry for the bad pics. Weird lighting and bad camera)
