Hair Wont Curl

My hair is incredibly fine and it doesn't curl well. If I curl it in the morning, by the afternoon my hair will have very little curl left to it. What are the best methods you use to curl your hair? What tools/products do you use?

I have this problem too! I've found that if I pin the curl and let it set and cool and then let the curls down they last so much longer!!
