Hiiii! Im new to posting here🙂 Im struggling so bad with my hair extremely oily at my roots but so dry on the ends! Advice is welcome! Not sure if its what im using or it could be a deeper issue! (im 19 if that helps any😊)

@Emily1738ovoxo It seems counter intuitive but if you are washing your hair too frequently and stripping it of oils, your scalp may be trying to overcompensate by producing even more oil.

You can try skipping a day and using an apple cider vinegar hair rinse instead. Not going to lie, it doesn't smell great, but it's slightly acidic which can help the hair shaft. I mix mine with thyme floral water instead of regular water to help with the smell a bit. It does fade so it doesn't last long.

You can also try a gentle cleanser, there's one called Shampure by Aveda that's great.

I like Olaplex No. 6 Bond Smoother Reparative Styling Creme 3.3 oz/ 100 mL to help protect the ends of my hair as well.

okay thank you so much! I wash my hair every 3 days with the Ouai Detox Shampoo but ill def try that one!
