Hair Loss

Hi, I'm only 20 yo but my hair starts to be thinner & thinner. After everytime I wash my hair (3 times a week), my hair is everywhere over the bath tub (a lot). My hair is literally everywhere on the floor in my room too even though I sweep it everyday. Is there any good product or supplement for hair loss? I've been taking biotin & collagen but they don't really work at all. I have extremely natural straight hair with oily scalp & dry hair anyway.

Re: Hair Loss

@UPhuongI would really recommend going to your doctor and ask to get a blood test done. Low iron / hormone imbalances are the culprits when it comes to a lot of hair loss. Also, improving your diet, sleep and stress levels can have a big difference.

Kerastase: Spécifique.

Re: Hair Loss

The Kérastase Genesis Strengthening Scalp and Hair Serum 90 mL/ 3.04 oz and the shampoo and conditioner from the same line have worked really well for me so far. I tend to shed a lot of hair, but it's been halved since I started using the full line.

RE: Hair Loss

@UPhuong Hi! Did you find anything that helped?? I’m Lao having the same issue and would love to know if you have any product recommendations or advice!

Re: Hair Loss

I'm not a doctor, so I recommend seeing one to ask them about the hair loss. Best of luck! @UPhuong

@UPhuong

Hi a lot of things can contribute to hair loss.

Extreme Dieting: your body needs fuel (calories) and if it’s suddenly worried it’s not going to be getting enough, it stops distributing fuel to places it deems that aren’t critical for survival; Hair and Skin being the first.

Stress: continuous bouts of stress can disrupt the follicle and push it into a semi permanent resting phase. This simply put means old hair is pushed out and new hair growth isn’t activated until stress stops.

Hair loss can also be medical or hereditary. So if you have eliminated the above two, please see a Trichologist.
