Employees (and their immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of Sephora USA, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. HOW TO ENTER:  During the Sweepstakes Period, to enter, find the post in Sephora’s Beauty Insider Community forum about this sweepstakes and comment with your best hair tip. There is a limit of one (1) entry per day; however, each entry must include a hair tip that is substantially different from any other hair tip provided by you, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on May 31, 2022. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries in excess of the stated entry limit will be void. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple accounts in an attempt to circumvent the entry limitation. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent these Official Rules, your entry may be void. Entries become the sole property of Sponsor. All Community terms and guidelines apply.

Drawing:  Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about June 6, 2022 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by direct message and may be required to execute and return an affidavit (or, declaration) of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules or is no longer a Sephora Community member, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner will be selected. I have long brunette hair which has been damaged due to heat, color, and time. During Covid lockdown and not being able to visit the salon, I discovered Moroccanoil Color Depositing Mask Cocoa - I will never get salon color again! This mask is easy to use, provides great coverage and color (I do have some greys and this doesn’t cover all of them but it looks more natural that way), takes away frizz and stays shiny for weeks. If you have curly or wavy hair, your hair loses moisture quickly, so it is important to deep condition (see product below) it every 15 days or every month- depending on what your hair needs. To prevent tangling, tie your hair before sleeping in a pineapple bun, which needs to be very loose.

I’ve been struggling with frizzy and dry hair for a while so after trying different products out from sephora I think I found my perfect hair routine!! I used to hate drying and straightening my hair after showers because it would take me an hour! That was until I made this change: use a blowdryer brush (I use drybars double barrel one). Heat protection!!! If you are heat styling, you need to use a heat protectant. I am someone who always turns my straightener to the highest setting (455) because I’m impatient and want things done fast. I was frying my hair for years and heat protection has become something I can’t style without. I notice a gradual difference hair when I started them. More strength and Way less breakage. My favorites that I actually use together sometimes are the JVN Complete Instant Recovery Heat Protectant Leave-In Serum 3.4 oz/ 100 mL  and Olaplex No. 9 Bond Protector Nourishing Hair Serum 3 oz / 90 mL . Both are incredible and work to add some hydration to the hair and manageability. You need these in your hair routine! Protect your hair!

If you have or want thick hair, hair masks and oils are your best friends!!! My favorite hair mask is Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair!™ Deep Conditioning Hair Mask 32 oz/ 946 mL . This is a root to ends hair mask and it really doesn’t leave your hair feeling oily at all. After your hair dries it feels so voluminous and soft. My split ends have really been improving because of this. I also like using Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil as a heat protectant. And the Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Strengthening Treatment Hair Oil 1 oz/ 30 mL as a strengthening hair oil. I find that putting oils from mid hair to ends at night leaves your hair feeling silky and healthy in the morning:)

A wallet-friendly way to clarify & remove build-up: use Apple Cider Vinegar as a Pre-Shampoo treatment. 

1) combine Water & ACV in a small (2 oz/ 60ml) tube or bottle. portions: 3 parts H20 to 1 part ACV.*

2) add to ACV & H2O mixture: 4 or 5 Cloves (merely to alter the aroma). Agitate it. Let this concoction sit for a few Hours.

3) to use, wet hair as usual. Pour mix over hair & distribute as desired. Rinse.

4) Then Shampoo per normal.

It's a 'crunchy' variation on what a few others have mentioned. *always dilute ACV, as its pH is wicked harsh!  As with many of these suggestions, use at your discretion.
