Between May 2^nd and May 31^st at 11:59pm Pacific Time, comment on this thread by hitting “reply” and sharing a hair tip that changed your life! ELIGIBILITY: Open Only to SEPHORA COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE Legal Residents OF, AND RESIDING IN, THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) WHO ARE OF LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE (AND AT LEAST 18). Void in quebec and Where Prohibited. Employees (and their immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of Sephora USA, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants (and, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or judges, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, state and local laws.

SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes will begin on May 2, 2022 at the time the Sweepstakes Post is posted, and ends May 31, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PT (“Sweepstakes Period”).

HOW TO ENTER:  During the Sweepstakes Period, to enter, find the post in Sephora’s Beauty Insider Community forum about this sweepstakes and comment with your best hair tip. There is a limit of one (1) entry per day; however, each entry must include a hair tip that is substantially different from any other hair tip provided by you, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on May 31, 2022. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries in excess of the stated entry limit will be void. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple accounts in an attempt to circumvent the entry limitation. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent these Official Rules, your entry may be void. Entries become the sole property of Sponsor. All Community terms and guidelines apply.

Drawing:  Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about June 6, 2022 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by direct message and may be required to execute and return an affidavit (or, declaration) of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules or is no longer a Sephora Community member, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner will be selected. If a Canadian resident, the potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question without any assistance in order to be eligible to receive a prize. Failure to answer the question correctly will result in the prize being forfeited. Only three (3) alternate winners will be selected after which the prize shall remain unawarded.

Prize And APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”) (15): USD$200 in Sephora e-Gift Cards (terms and conditions apply to use). ARV: $200 each. Total ARV of all prizes USD$3,000. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. All federal, state and local taxes (including income and withholding taxes), if any, and all other costs and expenses associated with prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of the winner. During the first covid lockdown I stopped blow drying my hair when I washed it. I figured no one was going to see it anyways. It took a couple weeks for my hair to settle, and once I found an air dry cream from L'Oreal that I liked my hair looked just as good without drying and heat styling as it did when I blow dried it all the time. It looks a lot healthier now and I basically only use a blow dryer for special occasions or if I have to go out shortly after washing my hair on a cold day. So my tip is to take a break from the heat styling!

My tried and true go-to product has been the SEPHORA COLLECTION Nourishing Hair Sleeping Mask in Coconut + Mango . I’ve been using these for years (before the clean version even came out!). I only get around to doing one every two or three weeks, but I love the results every time. Because I sleep on silk pillowcases, I prefer to wear these during the day actually! I apply the mask and put my hair in a slicked bun so I can get the effects of leaving it in all night, without having to sleep in the mask. I grab a few extras all the time to add onto gifts for friends and family members, and everyone is always so impressed with the Sephora collection quality!

Using any kind of hair oil once a week before washing keeps my hair hydrated and healthy. For the most hydration I leave the oil in overnight but even just an hour before washing works.

I recently change my hair color and the #Pureology Strength Cure shampoo and conditioner leave my hair so smooth! Love it. I have 3c fine curly hair and I've found that shampoos for curly hair don't work me.

To keep fashion colors vibrant, wash your hair with cold water once or twice a week. I use Verb Glossy Conditioner 12 oz / 355 mL  and Verb Glossy Shampoo 32 oz / 946 mL

I only was my hair 2-3 time s a week to keep the natural oils and prevent my hair from getting greasy. It takes a few weeks to train your hair but it’s so worth it for the results ! Just dry shampoo between washes

Learn to differentiate between dandruff and dry scalp. Using anti-dandruff shampoos only worsened my flakes, whereas hydrating shampoos healed my scalp; such as JVN Nurture Hydrating Shampoo 10 oz/ 295 mL and Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair!™ Super Moisture Shampoo for Damaged Hair 💗

I really enjoy using silk scrunchies to keep my hair from being damaged and pulled. It’s so much less painful than normal scrunchies/hair ties, and it doesn’t leave any frizz or bumps in my hair.

If you have a hair product that is just not working for you, check the manufacturer's web site or YouTube for product videos for tips on how to best use it. You might get a better result by applying it in a different amount or at a different step in your hair routine, or by mixing it with another product.
