Frizzy hair from air drying

Hello,

my thick bleached hair gets like a frizz-ball if I air dry it, rather than using heat. When I use heat, it comes out more smooth, sleek and shiny. What do you recommend?

My hair is also treated with bleach; lighter blasts the cuticle open creating frizz. In some people, (the lucky ones), it will create a thicker feeling in the hair but in most of us, frizz. Make sure you apply a leave in conditioner/heat protector and you can continue blow drying.

Re: Frizzy hair from air drying

@bronderRose3 from what I've learned, air drying is not the best for your hair because when your hair is wet for longer it is more prone to breakage. If your hair takes a long time to dry, using low/medium heat might be your best bet. You can also let your hair air dry most of the way and then finish it off with a dryer the rest of the way, which might help your frizz.
