Flat iron Dilemma: GHD vs Bio Ionic 10x

Need recommendation from someone who might have an experience with both GHD flat iron and Bio Ionic 10X flat iron. Which one is better in terms of:

Value for money, Durability, Imparting shine, Frizz reduction, International travel etc? 

While bio ionic has a 5 year warranty period, GHD has 1-2 years depending on the model. Some reviewers of GHD wrote that their's broke down within 2-3 years of use 😕

With bio ionic few people wrote that initially it worked as supposed to but was very drying after few months of using (started damaging hair, especially for those who had fine hair).

So I am confused which one to go for. I have thick black wavy (Indian) hair.

I have a Bio Ionic Onepass flat iron. It's about 10 years old now and still going.  I do love it very much and will buy from this brand again when it dies.  I have fine wavy hair and lots of it!  Previous to that I had a CHI (like the OG... the good one 😄 ) and I think I've tried a GHD too but still prefer my Bio Ionic.  I know that's not the one you are looking into but thought I'd share anyways.
