Color treated hair

Hi, iv had my hair highlighted multiple times, and right now it’s at its lowest, and I feel like my hair is not as healthy as it used to be. What are some products you recommend to help strengthen, and help bring back shine and softness to it?

Re: Color treated hair

@OmtaH  When my hair was at its most processed the things that were good for my hair -like moisturizing masks and protein treatments were helpful for keeping it moist so it wouldn’t break as easily but they weren’t what made it LOOK good.

The products that made my hair look and feel good even when it had no natural shine of its own was Bumble and bumble Save the Day Protective Hair Repair Fluid 3.2 oz/ 95 mL  combined with Marrakesh Oil Hairstyling Elixir to control the frizzy ends.  I also used a lighter oil on the entire lengths to coat the cuticles and give fake shine.
Once your hair has been processed so much there’s no bringing back it’s shine without using products or growing out fresh unprocessed hair, so products are necessary to fake the shine.

Re: Color treated hair

I have super dry curly porous hair that I get colored monthly. I have tried every hair treatment known to man (and woman) and so far the

Christophe Robin Regenerating Hair Mask with Prickly Pear Seed Oil

or

K18 Biomimetic Hairscience

are my top two to get my hair back to being healthy soft and glossy. Highly recommend using a clarifying shampoo before to remove any product build up before using.

Re: Color treated hair

The Ordinary has a really nice and inexpensive aragon oil for hair and skin. I haven't had it long, but I used it on my hair and it's super nice. The brand overall is really great!

Here's a link to it:
The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Moroccan Argan Oil for Skin & Hair 1 oz/ 30 mL

Re: Color treated hair

Hi there! The Moroccan oil masks work wonders for my hair. They are super rich and make my hair soft for a few washes then it’s time to use it again. They have different options, you can check out which is color safe. Hope this helps! 😁
