ELIGIBILITY: Open Only to SEPHORA COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE Legal Residents OF, AND RESIDING IN, THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) WHO ARE OF LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE (AND AT LEAST 18). Void in quebec and Where Prohibited. Employees (and their immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of Sephora USA, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants (and, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or judges, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD: The Sweepstakes will begin on May 2, 2022 at the time the Sweepstakes Post is posted, and ends May 31, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. PT (“Sweepstakes Period”).

HOW TO ENTER:  During the Sweepstakes Period, to enter, find the post in Sephora’s Beauty Insider Community forum about this sweepstakes and comment with your best hair tip. There is a limit of one (1) entry per day; however, each entry must include a hair tip that is substantially different from any other hair tip provided by you, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on May 31, 2022. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries in excess of the stated entry limit will be void. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple accounts in an attempt to circumvent the entry limitation. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent these Official Rules, your entry may be void. Entries become the sole property of Sponsor. All Community terms and guidelines apply.

Drawing:  Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about June 6, 2022 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by direct message and may be required to execute and return an affidavit (or, declaration) of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules or is no longer a Sephora Community member, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner will be selected. If a Canadian resident, the potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question without any assistance in order to be eligible to receive a prize. Prize And APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (“ARV”) (15): USD$200 in Sephora e-Gift Cards (terms and conditions apply to use). ARV: $200 each. Total ARV of all prizes USD$3,000. Prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee, either express or implied. I've had issues on and off with seborrheic dandruff on my scalp and what's worked wonders for my scalp and hair is...of all things...massaging coconut oil into my scalp!  I'll do this several times a week and either put on a cap and sleep with it on overnight, or put it in a cap, wrap my head in a towel, and wear it a few hours before washing it out.  It's amazing for scalp health AND conditioning hair!

Honestly, The Ordinary’s glycolic saved my scalp!!! I had really bad dandruff. Like flakes all throughout my hair. One day I put the glycolic acid in my hair and massaged it into my scalp and let it sit for 10 minutes. I washed it out and poof. No more flakes. FOR WEEKS. Not just a day but for weeks. I now do this once a month 🥰

Properly condition your hair. Do this by sectioning off your hair, just like when you curl or straighten it. Section if off and apply conditioner and continue on to all your sections. Then take a wide tooth comb or wet brush and brush all of the conditioner through the hair to evenly distribute it. PATTERN by Tracee Ellis Ross Mini Wide Tooth Comb is a great option to use for this. Let your conditioner sit on for 3-10 minutes then rinse. The longer it’s on, the better it works. Don’t neglect your hair- make sure to regularly condition! Substitute your regular conditioner for a deep conditioner once in a while to give your hair a boost of moisture. I love the Verb Hydrating Hair Treatment Mask because it’s moisturizing and not too pricy. My final tip is a bit of a work, but something I find made a MASSIVE difference to my hair. Test your water and see if you need a water softener or a filter! There are inexpensive testing kits that you can pick up at most hardware stores. 

my home has hard water, so I had a softener installed. You don’t necessarily need a whole system, you can get a filter shower head that’ll do it as well for much less (I think some are as low as $20 CAD on Amazon). Hard water has a lot of minerals and calcium which can lead to buildup in your hair, dry it out and make it harder for your products to do what they’re supposed to. It was a bit of effort but SO worth it - I noticed a difference in how effective my products were after only a few washes

I blend aloe vera and massage it onto my scalp once a week. I leave it on overnight and wash the next day. It’s great for dry scalp especially in the winter!
