ELIGIBILITY: Open Only to SEPHORA COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE Legal Residents OF, AND RESIDING IN, THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) WHO ARE OF LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE (AND AT LEAST 18). Void in quebec and Where Prohibited. Employees (and their immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of Sephora USA, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants (and, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or judges, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. HOW TO ENTER:  During the Sweepstakes Period, to enter, find the post in Sephora’s Beauty Insider Community forum about this sweepstakes and comment with your best hair tip. There is a limit of one (1) entry per day; however, each entry must include a hair tip that is substantially different from any other hair tip provided by you, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on May 31, 2022. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries in excess of the stated entry limit will be void. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple accounts in an attempt to circumvent the entry limitation. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent these Official Rules, your entry may be void. Entries become the sole property of Sponsor. All Community terms and guidelines apply.

Drawing:  Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about June 6, 2022 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by direct message and may be required to execute and return an affidavit (or, declaration) of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules or is no longer a Sephora Community member, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner will be selected. If a Canadian resident, the potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question without any assistance in order to be eligible to receive a prize. I have fine hair with a oily scalp after 1.5-2 days. I also work out 3x a week, have colored hair AND use a water softener since we have hard water. It's a challenge to find the right products that cleans but doesn't dry my hair out. I use sulfate-free shampoos & rotate. @SephoraBIC I take extra care of my hair when I dye it, since I have natural black hair and often have trouble getting my hair to lighten. I’ve been using a colour-safe shampoo, Kérastase Chroma Absolu Shampoo for Medium to Thick Color-Treated Hair 8.5 oz/ 250 mL and follow it up with Kérastase Chroma Absolu High Shine Gloss Treatment for Color-Treated Hair 7.1 oz/ 210 mL (*gifted) to keep the colour intact and shiny for longer!

I have curly hair and I was always washing my hair every couple of days because my curls would just get knotty and ugly but since I started with different products, I am able to go pretty much a week. Waiting that long to wash my hair has definitely helped with the dryness and changed my hair game

Tip #2: This is for hair growth. Ever since I bleached and damaged my hair I trimmed some of it off but I was eager for it to grow back again healthy. What’s helped me was using hair oils like castor and rosemary oil !! I do an oil treatment once a week and leave it on for at least 3 hrs. My hair has grown way more that way.

Try washing your hair in cold water! Hot water can damage your hair and make it dry over time while cold water can help retain moisture and is better for your scalp. I like to take lukewarm showers and finish with a cold rinse to seal the hair cuticle. It also helps wake me up in the morning!

I've found that using a hair oil like the one from Morocconoil goes a long way in keeping my hair from getting frizzy, especially in the Summer when there's high humidity. The light version is my favorite since I have fine hair that can get weighed down by oily products. The scent is nice and my hair always feels soft after using it.

If you have thin and straight hair, i highly recommend you to not wait too long after washing your hair to dry it and to use the blowout brush hair dryer tool instead of a normal hair dryer as it will make it super shiny and with movement. Also I recommend to dilute a strong gel in water (1:10 dilution), put in your hands and delicately in the hair to control the little flying hairs.

Once a month, after shampooing, I mix 1 tsp of baking soda and dilute in water, then pour it onto my scalp and massage it in. After 10 minutes wash it out and air dry. This helps reduce dandruff as well.

Adding couple of cloves to your shampoo is said to work wonders for the hair. Also cloves, rosemary and bay leaves boiled for ten minutes, then soaked for 24 hrs. Then spraying the tonic on hair daily.

When brushing curl's make sure they stay wet is it's dry it could cause breakage when brushing. When you dry your hair don't be rough with the towel, dry your hair as delicate as possible. Moisturize your hair before braiding you should braid hair once a month. Product's I've used is coconut oil, gel, Shea butter curl enhancer. Also a leave in spray.
