ELIGIBILITY: Open Only to SEPHORA COMMUNITY MEMBERS WHO ARE Legal Residents OF, AND RESIDING IN, THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA (EXCLUDING QUEBEC) WHO ARE OF LEGAL AGE OF MAJORITY IN THEIR JURISDICTION OF RESIDENCE (AND AT LEAST 18). Void in quebec and Where Prohibited. Employees (and their immediate families (spouse, and parents, children and siblings and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related) of Sephora USA, Inc. (“Sponsor”), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants (and, if eligible minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or judges, which are binding and final on matters relating to this sweepstakes. HOW TO ENTER:  During the Sweepstakes Period, to enter, find the post in Sephora’s Beauty Insider Community forum about this sweepstakes and comment with your best hair tip. There is a limit of one (1) entry per day; however, each entry must include a hair tip that is substantially different from any other hair tip provided by you, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. All entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PT on May 31, 2022. Entries generated by script, macro or other automated means or by any means which subvert the entry process are void. Entries in excess of the stated entry limit will be void. You may not enter more times than indicated by using multiple accounts in an attempt to circumvent the entry limitation. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent these Official Rules, your entry may be void. Entries become the sole property of Sponsor. All Community terms and guidelines apply.

Drawing:  Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing held on or about June 6, 2022 from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by direct message and may be required to execute and return an affidavit (or, declaration) of eligibility, a liability release and, where lawful, a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, a prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules or is no longer a Sephora Community member, prize will be forfeited and, at Sponsor’s discretion, an alternate winner will be selected. If a Canadian resident, the potential winner will be required to correctly answer a time-limited, skill-testing question without any assistance in order to be eligible to receive a prize. If you’re someone who uses protein bonding products, like Olaplex No. 3 Hair Repair Perfector , make sure you don’t have too much protein in your hair! Anti-frizz spay is the last step for me before I leave the house.  I use Living Proof No Frizz Humidity Shield and while it isn't a miracle worker, it does help.  (I don't care for the Living Proof No Frizz® Instant De-Frizzer , though!)

Best hair care tip, Use Olaplex No. 7 Bonding Oil when your hair is damp. It is a huge game changer. It has made my hair so soft.

I have very curly hair and I always used to be so focused on making it "straight" like all of my other friends. Recently I have been embracing and enhancing my natural curls. When I decided to make the switch to "natural" My hair was completely dead and frizzy.  So here are my tips on how to revive and show off curls.

1) brush hair from the bottom up

    - I always used to rake my hair from the top down; resulting in major split ends. Now I use a wide toothed comb and start de-tangling from the ends to the roots.

2) HYDRATE

    - in the past I would use conditioner and that would be enough for me. Now whenever I'm home and have time (ex. when I'm doing homework) I'll rinse my hair and apply a generous amount of either Briogeo Curl Charisma™ Rice Amino + Shea Curl Defining Conditioner 8 oz/ 237 mL or one of their hydrating hair masks. I'll clip it in a Drybar Hold Me Hair Clips and put a shower cap on to let it saturate. When I'm ready I will get into the shower and shampoo +condition my hair with the briogio banana super foods set. when I get out of the shower I will towel dry my hair 60% and then put in oleplex #8. to go to bed.

3) tame the frizz

   - my mom actually told me about this trick. So if I'm ever out and I notice that I have a lot of frizz I will take some hand lotion or moisturizer and put it on my hair. I know it sounds wacky but it works to tame stubborn flyaways. Putting lotion on hair is so much better than water; this sounds contradictory but putting water on hair will just make it frizzier.  

4) LOVE YOUR HAIR

   - no matter what anybody says, you have to remember that your hair is beautiful! your hair makes you unique and special. never let anybody pressure you into straightening  your hair. heat can damage curly hair (trust me, I know) and ruin curls. Love yourself and your hair ALWAYS, no matter how hard and annoying it can be. Its worth it.
