Are Hair Wavers tacky? I want waves in my hair but non crunchy.

I was wondering if hair wavers can look natural. It's hard to tell from photos, I see a lot of tacky crunchy curls.

I recommend using large hot rollers and then set with a good hairspray.  Sephora sells a lot of great hairsprays:)

The good thing about using hot rollers is that it takes the frizz away and makes your waves smooth and soft without having to "scrunch" your hair.  Hope this helps:)

I don't know the answer to your question per se, but I can tell you that I've been on a quest for a product that will not make my hair crunchy when all I want is scrunchy-looking hair.  I finally found a great combo that leaves my hair soft and silky, but still scrunchy.  I use Herbal Essence "Tousle Me Softly Mousse" and then I put just a small amount of "Kenra's Silkening Gloss" on my hair.  The combo of the two products works great.
