I can't figure out how to open my bottle of Alterna caviar shampoo?? Am I just over thinking this, or dumb?

The cap is on so tight i cant lift it up, I've tried to twist and squeeze the product out but nothing is happening? 

Do I need to do something else? 

I bought the normal sized 8.5 OZ bottle!!! 

I've always used the travel sized bottles, and have never had a bottle like this before?

@brittbby254 Try twisting it the way you would on a mason jar (and counterclockwise if clockwise doesn’t work). I think this is how I would open mine when I used this line of shampoo.
