What's on your plate?

Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄

@itsfi Awww thank you. It’s really fun to bake desserts. I really should start trying to cook non dessert items but those are not as fun.

@SportyGirly125   Bundt cakes are my favorite!  You did a good job with the chocolate chunks; they didn't all sink to the bottom. That's difficult to accomplish!

We have couple plum trees and every summer so many fruits got wasted because we can’t use them all or give away fast enough. Last night I tried out a new recipe: plum bread

it is quite good. I will definitely make this again

@blackkitty2014  That looks great! I wish I had a plum tree! My favorite summer fruit/stone fruit recipes are clafoutis and spoon cakes, super fast and easy for my non-baking skills 🙂  The NYTimes just published a Strawberry Spoon Cake recipe (original source Jerrelle Guy) that is amazing with plums, if you've still got a surplus!

@blackkitty2014  I’ve never heard of plum bread. But I like banana bread. So I’m sure plum bread would be good too. Glad you liked it! Hopefully no more wasted plums!

Ooh, I’ve never had plum bread @blackkitty2014, but this looks wonderful! 😍 On a side note, my mom mentioned to me the other day (randomly over the phone) that one of her coworkers gave her a plum from their tree. All I could think of was “I don’t think one plum will be enough to make blackkitty2014’s plum bread!” 😆
