What's on your plate?

Hello there, ladies and gents!

Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:

"What's on your plate?"

The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!

For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.

Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.

For lunch today, I had:

-Brown rice

-Steamed egg

-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper

-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄

Re: What's on your plate?

@QueenMarceline oh my gosh, I LOVE those.  And yes, I've gotten lucky and found some on a great sale earlier this summer.

Re: What's on your plate?

@CookieGirl1 They're truly the best, they taste a little bit extra special frozen for an hour or two. After freezing they are so good to eat alone or to add to some white wine in the summer. 😍 Really missing these since they are out of season.

Re: What's on your plate?

@QueenMarceline you're one of my people.  I have an embarrassingly ridiculous amount of grapes (including Cotton Candy ones) in gallon ziploc bags in my freezer in my garage.

Re: What's on your plate?

@CookieGirl1 Haha, two peas in a pod. 👭 🍇

Re: What's on your plate?

@CookieGirl1 @I showed my husband your picture and he said “let’s buy this variety and grow it. I want it” 🤣😂

Re: What's on your plate?

@blackkitty2014  Of course he did. 💕

  Stuffed Oysters with  Brocolli, Onions and Carrots.

 Garlic bread and Just a regular ol' salad on the side *not pictured*  cooked everything on the BBQ in aluminum pouches. I had to take advantage of a warm sunny day.  The bbq season is just about over, going to miss these summer meals for sure.  🍂🍁 fall is on the way

Re: What's on your plate?

@CynthieLu ,

Those oysters look incredible!

Re: What's on your plate?

@CynthieLu That looks excellent. I have never tried oysters before!

Re: What's on your plate?

@CynthieLu Oh my gosh, YUM! 😝

Re: What's on your plate?

O.M.G I’m drooling @CynthieLu 🤤. 👍

Re: What's on your plate?

Ty @blackkitty2014  they were very delicious 😁

Re: What's on your plate?

@CynthieLu I've honestly only had oysters once and they weren't NEARLY as good as those look!

Re: What's on your plate?

Baked with cheese, bread crumbs, onions and seasoning is a good way to go 😋 @CookieGirl1 cheese makes everything better  😉

Re: What's on your plate?

@CynthieLu um, I'm coming to YOUR house for dinner! 😉

Re: What's on your plate?

Gotta do a little more grilling while the weather is still nice, right?  Grilled corn on the cob alongside tilapia with a lemon tarragon sauce and avocado.

Re: What's on your plate?

@CookieGirl1 ,

I admire your grilling skills!  Everything that you grill looks so good!

Re: What's on your plate?

@tsavorite lol, I'm just lazy and I always feel like grilling is the easy way to cook something.  And hey, it tastes good so win-win.

Re: What's on your plate?

@CookieGirl1 That looks so good! Glad I learned tarragon goes well with fish 🐟😋

Re: What's on your plate?

@Mellmars1185 I rarely use tarragon but somehow it works with the lemon especially.

Re: What's on your plate?

@CookieGirl1 Oof, now I'm getting hungry. Looks delicious ❤️
