Hello there, ladies and gents!
Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:
"What's on your plate?"
The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!
For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.
Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.
For lunch today, I had:
-Brown rice
-Steamed egg
-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper
-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)
Now, tell me, Beauty Talk world, what do you have? 😄
@heartsmyface @no we don’t. It would be fun to learn how to make wine. I’ll probably do it in the future. 😘

@itsfi We do have Thompson (Green) grapes too. I just forgot to take pictures. The only problem is we have more than we can consume 😂🤣

My favourite snack after work has been avocado toast (basic, I know!). I scoop out one avocado, and mix it with lemon juice, garlic powder, red chilli flakes, and black pepper. Makes the perfect spread for toast. Then, I cut up cherry tomato’s as a topping, and finally I sprinkle on some feta cheese! So so so good!

We have a lot of bags of pasta here, so I tried to put together a meal that used a lot of our garden produce.
I pureed the yellow pear tomatoes and cooked them with sausage, onion, and oregano.
It was so tasty! I finished it off with zucchini, bell pepper, and hungarian wax pepper, cream, and parmigiano.

@CookieGirl1 Thanks! I've been getting meat from Butcher Box, and I really like it. The sausage isn't too greasy; the ground beef is both grassfed and grass-finished.
@Ispend2much6 I've heard of Butcher Box but don't really know much about it. How are the prices?

@Ispend2much6 oh, don't worry about it but that's really sweet! We honestly don't eat a ton of meat so it probably wouldn't really be "worth it" to us but thank you 🙂
