Hello there, ladies and gents!
Keeping in line with all the fun and interactive threads asking about your most recent halls, items you have your eyes on, what you're currently wearing, what's your hair routine, and more, I've decide to branch out and ask:
"What's on your plate?"
The beauty world doesn't just stop at skin care and cosmetics, it also goes hand in hand with your overall health and well-being, so with that, I'm curious to see what we're all chowing down and snacking on be it for breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, or inbetween!
For those with apps that help count calories or to those who just want to keep a log, here's a place to share, possibly find and share some recipes, and even tips on maintaining a balanced diet.
Don't just share food items, but even drinks! I'm a huge fan of tea and at least have a cup of green tea a day (anti-oxidants) and drink plenty of water.
For lunch today, I had:
-Brown rice
-Steamed egg
-Steamed red snapper with green onion, sesame oil, and black pepper
-Gai lan (it's a type of Chinese vegetable/greens)

Trying to make good use of the last day of the weekend. My husband is grilling and planting more seeds for a fall harvest. I'm cooking and baking. I prefer my job!
I found these low-glycemic seed potatoes, never knew they existed, so I bought them in the spring to plant. It's too late for a spring harvest, but I found out that they can still grow for the fall!
We're having hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, grilled corn on the cob, and blueberry pie. We're a July 4th cliche. 🙂
@CookieGirl1. Thank you. We liked it but I don' t think it would have been your fave. I used butter smoky seasoning salt and what I thought was mikd Calabrian chili pepper powder. I had grabbed the hot one by mistake and sprinkled it all over the corn by the spoonful!!

@Skunk12puzzolaThanks- I hope so! The most perplexing issue is we have NEVER been able to grow zucchini well! Even this year. The plants are not doing well, and we've only picked three of them. Most people have too much and give alot away.
I need to look into garlic though. I'll let you know which type I order. It will probably be an Italian type. 💕
@Ispend2much6 Your menu sounds delicious! I have never heard of these potatoes. If you have eaten them before - How do they taste? How is their texture?
@Cissy63. I think I found them at a grocery store awhile ago. They tasted fine. These smelled very potatoey when I cut them!
@itsfi Finally the donuts happened!!!!!! Omg the black sesame! These are evilly delicious! We cut them in quarters so we could try more flavours without too much guilt and if I did overindulge, well, I’ll work it off paddleboarding tomorrow.
